Maybe relocate battery to the boot and fabricate a CAI near the headlight with all the space?

Problem is my car gets properly used. For example I was the one having to get stuff at the weekend for race of remembrance.

Cant do spare wheel well as I like having it too

It’s a shame you can’t stick it under the passenger seat where they normally have a cubby hole

I’ve got the underseat storage bins :D

Or simply rotate the battery, it leaves some space near the bumper and headlight

That’s what the trmg kit does which is one thing I’m looking at.

Last outing up at Crail today.

We all love cold weather due to having turbos but the downside is that with no sun or heat the tarmac is cold and has no traction at all. Ran the car on ZZR's then switch back to the road tyres and was the same was running stage 1 times of 15.9 -16.0. Car only recently mapped so i know how much power it has and the speed was there at the top end.

Got to the end of the day and thought sod it turned on the traction control and straight away down to 15.6 and kept running 15.6's so only .2 off my summer times.

Still managed to take down some Civic Type R's and Focus ST's.

Pulled the logs and it managed 7.71 0-60 with tc on, pulled the logs from the summer and the fastest it did was 7.51 to 60, compared them and pretty much the same you can see where it cut the power a couple of times but pretty much the same.

btw, I've been toying for a while about doing something similar with the engine cover; looks really nice in red :)

LSD?

Not yet. Issue is finding one that will fit.

Darkside did look at fitting a 6 speed like they have in their Golf then fitting an LSD but when it came to it the gearbox wouldn’t fit. They think the only 6 speed that will fit would be the mk1 fabia vRS box.

They then found a quaife one that might fit although id prefer something like a gripper or wavetrac

Does yr geabox have code 04a - I think Quaiffe offer one, they always did for both the old vag 5 and 6 speeds.

Getting all that torque to the ground must be a complete nightmare, especially now when it's so wet!

MZL is the gearbox code on mine. It's not too bad as i always put decent tyres on it Premuim Contact 6's. The map is pretty progressive.

Have you ever come across Jason Symonds fabia pd130 project known as SL0WTD
