thank you, i like it too :) the beige and black is very well placed, plus with sun roof to be in the car is really spacious and light

Simply gorgeous! I was sold on the Quartz Grey with the beige interior, but you just made me go back to square one and start the decision process all over again! :)

haha, if not for my BMW 3 Series been already grey (you can see it behind in 4th photo with blue brakes) we would of chosen grey too (just cant remember which one is called, its the darkest one i liked the most, either business or qartz)

I'm also noticing now that Karoq has steering wheel very light which is great and my wife has very easy time driving it but i ended up configuring 'Individual' Driving mode with sport steering which makes it more heavy, its good for me.

Looks great in the sun thank you , love the beige interior although I would worry on the practicality about it marking easily but it certainly makes its look light and airy .

couple things noticed

- its a loud AC, only solution to tun down manually fan speed to level 1 or 2 most and in setting set fan profile to low

- the driver window actuator is loud, will give it more time to settle maybe from being now

- sometimes jerky pull on accelerating from 0 mph and initial ride after that, need to monitor more

Hi Vadimo

Thanks for posting your posts- very interesting. How do you find the heated seats and heated steering wheel? Do they work well and get hot enough?

The gearbox problem is slightly concerning - my test drive was smooth and faultless. Im changing the Kia to rid myself of torque converter auto boxes - my previous BMW let me down in this area also.

i think heated seats and steering is good and does get reasonably hot, reasonably quick but i find seats warm quicker in my BMW and its level 3 setting is much hotter

i would not call this gearbox problem, i just need to test more to understand fully in what conditions this happens. i think 8 speed ZF gearbox is the best

Is it jerky with the auto hold on?

I found it better on my test drive with that off so the car creeps forward as soon as you lift off the brake pedal.

Reasonably hot is perfect for me - I never had the BMW or Kia on past the lowest setting. I deliberately made sure the seats are NOT leather. Had my fill of cold leather.

Yes the 8 speed is superb! My cars were all 6 speed auto.

auto-hold is enabled but i dont believe its intruding, the jerk happens on the move

also experienced jerk when boosting from stand still but that's what many reviewers been saying, the gearbox ratio is setup this way to get you moving quicker

maybe the jerk is present on further lower gear ratios i.e. #2 as i only noticed this on speeds around 10-15 mph,

Sometimes the DSG box pulls away within second, and then drops into first if the accelerator peddle pressure increases behond mild levels. The workaround is to engage sport mode from standstill, or manually down-change before moving off.

I find when driving the wifes 1.2 DSG Yeti that it either pulls away like a snail or full race mode ! Sometimes it's like the throttle is on a switch either on or off !

Karoq looks very nice, never even considered the Brown to be honest, chose Quartz grey and hope to get it in about 3 weeks time :) Beige interior looks good too.

I would never consider brown too but we decided to go with the beige interior and then started process of elimination which exterior colour didn't suit it in our opinion, so it came down to top winners; grey, black or brown. We already have BMW in grey, black is too genetic and so it was left just with Brown, bingo!

On a dull day it looks dull as per first post pics (unlike some other colours that look good no matter what), in evening street lit environment it looks rather nice and mysterious and sunny day it comes to life as per recent pictures.

I noticed slight annoyance, driving evening and interior is nicely lit including footwell, who wants to see their feet ? any idea if it can be turned off?

Read the manual!  page 77.  It seems as if you can vary the lighting level of all the areas independently or all the same, the choice is yours.

So been driving Karoq more and can't help not to notice but the engine idling sound from outside is not pleasant, i expected much quieter sound and its almost like diesel.

I took audio clip, see what you think,
