Still no build week!

Featured Replies

My sportline has the electric boot, I’m sure it’s standard. I didn’t spec the foot waving feature.

    FINALLY.

  • You’re mostly correct, I just spoke with Skoda and it isn’t yet in the UK.   They did say that it’s not approved yet, but they have started shipping anyway in anticipation of approval.

  • I'm not sure I understand what you're saying.   Your first sentence reads to me that once the engine is WLTP approved, then that's the end of the process, it's ready for certification.

The Tiguan is now approved with 2.0 TSI 169kW - didn´t know there was going to be a 230 hp engine for this car. Anyhow, bet the Kodiaq is right around the corner.

Probably not.

It does actually. Found it on the configuration page

Okay, sorry then. Style is the top model in my country, but the electric trunk is not included.

If the electric boot wasn’t standard I don’t think I would of specked it as an option, however less than a week into ownership it’s already proved handy and I’m glad it’s there. Same goes for keyless entry and start.

Remember that different countries have different options as standard.

Where did you see this? It’s not on the adac list yet.

Its there... What brand are you looking for the tiguan at? ;)

As mlohnork says its on the list, under VW ;)

And the Kodiaq RS is now approved. Chandler voice: Could I have picked a more slow tested engine :shake:

Yes I was clearly looking at VW :shake:

Where I let myself down was not refreshing the page, oops!

Yes hopefully the Kodiaq won’t be far behind!

I would've accepted it if they replaced the 190 I ordered with the 230 as a compensation. :D

240, not 230.

Dealer just rang. Going to fill out the paperwork tonight for release tomorrow. Can't believe it's finally here. Almost 5 months

No, 169kW is 226,5 hp but is written as 230.

Is this petrol you are talking about?

I meant diesel.

Indeed.

The new 230 TSI for VW Tiguan.

It’s 230PS or Pferdestärke. Or metric horsepower. But you’re right, that’s about 226.5bhp.

FINALLY.

The Sportline gets the same black plastic wheel arches as all other models.

The sills and front and rear bumpers get more paint though.

got a call yesterday to say my sportline has been delayed from early December delivery to early January.

WLTP strikes again.

Skoda say they will honour the 2018 price but disappointed I won't get my Christmas present now :(

  • 2 weeks later...

According to the dealer my car will be built in week 4. Style 2.0 TSI. 2-4 weeks delivery time and I've ordered some treatment after it comes to Norway, so I doubt I'll see it before March earliest.

I got no build week yet but my dealer said week 3 at the absolute earliest.

And when it arrives it is getting Tectyl treatment and a ceramic coating (last one is done private).

Finally got a build week: 0519.
