    FINALLY.

  • You’re mostly correct, I just spoke with Skoda and it isn’t yet in the UK.   They did say that it’s not approved yet, but they have started shipping anyway in anticipation of approval.

  • I'm not sure I understand what you're saying.   Your first sentence reads to me that once the engine is WLTP approved, then that's the end of the process, it's ready for certification.

Mine is currently en-route to Port of Tyne and due in this evening. The latest updates from my dealer:

Lucky you. My dealer has just informed me that my order is still status 10, still set for build in week 13.

****e!

Car is here but damaged, rails and roof is pressed in by the train door coming down when unloading the car.

Because our nigthmare history with the current Octavia (they REALLY know me at the dealership) they called the factory and ordered a new one with a priority plus delivery. Delivery in april/may.

Someone shut the train carriage door whilst unloading, or did they lower the upper level whilst there were still cars underneath!?

If I understood them right the car was on a closed carriage on the last transport stage from Drammen to Trondheim.

So, placed my order for a 1.5TSi DSG 4x4 SE with lots of extras on Feb 26th, with estimated build time of 18 weeks. Sent an email to the salesman Monday to see if he had a build week yet. He emailed me back today as he had just got back from holidays to say that build week is next week!

Only downside now is he says it can take 3 - 6 weeks to deliver, and there are still some extras that are dealer work, so might not get it until mid June.

Hey no fair! I ordered my 1.5 TSI DSG SEL a good 6 weeks before you. And my build week is also next week!

Well, I ordered my 1.5TSI DSG Edition on the 8th of Jan, and have now got build week 21.

Ordered my 2.0 TSI with loads of options on 28 Jan and it arrived at the dealer last week.

Our second Sportline 2.0 TSI (first one heavily damaged) was build last week and is due within two weeks.

This is how fast it can be done when they cut corners.

That is weird! What do they do to work out the build week? Did you choose petrol blue paintwork?

Yes, Petrol blue!

Stu, Looks like ours will be delivered together, My 1.5TSI DSG 4x4 SE L is being built next week for delivery to Aberdeen. Oh yes and its petrol blue as well,,,,they better not get them mixed up.

Well, I have the 5 seat version, so check the boot to see you have your extra seats!

I'll make sure I check.

So I think we can safely say they’re doing a run on petrol blue this week! :D all same engine as well? (Mine isn’t 4wd)

Well I’ve got a petrol blue on order, so hope so! Ordered on 25 January (1.5 TSI Manual SE 7 seat) and have only ever been given provisional build days slipping into very late May, so fingers crossed.

I spoke to the dealer yesterday and my car is now apparently 'in transit' so they expect to be able to hand over the car in early May!

nice one. At least the end is in sight and it will soon be with you.

I got an update last week, proposed  build week is now wk22( i think that is 1st june). So its got closer by one week!

My dealer has told me build will be complete this week and delivered to the dealership in 3-6 weeks.

Another petrol blue 1.5 TSI DSG SE-L here. Ordered 4th February, only got a build week of week 20 a week ago! The radio silence was getting a bit concerning, hopefully it'll be on time or even early like my Octavia was.

Ditto - latest update via Skoda Customer Service is still (unconfirmed) build week of 20th May. Updates from the dealer have been few and far between, often with little actual info and even fewer replies when I ask!

I'm still waiting too! a petrol Blue SE L with extra's ordered March still no build week, dealer is not that communacative and Skoda chat have told me varying things like the dealer hasn't placed the order yet or the usual please check again on Friday / Monday when we will have more detail. Frustrating that you spend £30k on a car and Skoda don't seem to care.....

Same here. I seem to get better info from the online Skoda chat, than the dealer. To be honest i by pass the dealer now as its just quicker on line. You make a good  comment  re spending a lot of money on the car, yet the dealer can appear to be less than interested.  Hopefully you will hear something  soon.
