Haas have confirmed the same drivers for next year, Grosjean must have something on Gunther Steiner to be able to keep his drive

That is suprising how are they going to attract new sponsors with 2 mediocre drivers onboard. Puzzling.

I wonder if Williams would be interested in a pointy German pay driver?

When I read that Kubica was leaving Williams, I thought it was the perfect opportunity for Vettel to move to Mercedes. Well, the Williams is running a Mercedes engine.

Kubica and Williams to split at the end of the season

No 5h1t. It's a shame but to be honest George has absolutely destroyed him  on pace.

Favourite for Williams is F2 front runner Nic Latifi, who's daddy is a shareholder. Sounds familiar?

Still some possible driver merry go round action though.

If Seb quits who goes to Ferrari?

If it's Riccardo who then goes to Renault?

Who gets the second Alfa, RedBull, Williams?

Most of these depend on Vettel walking away, which looks more likely every time LeClerc beats him.

When you look at the stats between them, it's surprising he's not been replaced  before now, unless he is bringing a decent wedge of cash with him ?

Yes he did bring a substantial polish wedge. But last year they took Sirotkins similar russian amount because Sergei was faster. Sadly Robert isn't quick enough any more,

I wouldn't be surprised if he did walk, I don't think he's been that happy at Ferrari and now being thrashed by a 21 year old rookie must hurt

OK.

Assuming Vettel goes and Ferrari give Charles #1 status, who's the proven quick reliable point scorer #2 they should bring in to help push for the constructors title.

I vote for Perez.

Hmm interesting idea, I thought Perez had just signed to extend his stay with Force India or whatever they are called now ? not that contracts can't be bought out, Alonso to return ?? or Ricciado to jump from Renault ?

If Red Bull don't keep Albon in the main team with Max then perhaps Ferrari could take a gamble on another young prospect rather than playing it safe with experience otherwise Kimi or Alonso would be considered.

Kimi too slow. Alonso too difficult. Riccardo has a break clause if Merc / Ferrari offer a seat. Ferrari would buy off the contract of their preferred driver anyway.

VER + VET fastest on softs. HAM only 0.7 slower on hards. BOT crashed. LEC broke down. Waiting for FP2.

FP2 top 3 Lewis, Max and Seb. Mercedes looking strong for qualifying.

...but are they under investigation for illegal fuel?

5000€ fine for having the fuel too cold (more then 11c below ambient air temp ?) Alpha had the same issue in Austria

Seems pointless to do that in FP. In the race of course that would be different since you can put extra fuel in the more it is pre cooled.

If it had been found before the race then the punishment would of been more than a paltry 5000€

It appears that the fuel must not be cooled to 10 degrees below the ambient temperature and Mercedes were more than 11 degrees below.

OTOH, this being Singapore, you could keep the fuel in the garage and achieve 15C deg below ambient...

Just as well Mercedes banked all those points early in the season.

LeClerc could win all the races from here.

Lucky for Mercedes that Hamilton has a 100 point lead over the Ferrari man.

Vettel to become the wingman and take out Hampster at all the next races, job done 🤣

Riccardo starts at the back of the grid for a technical infringement of the amount of power from the MGU-K.

Lewis extends his lead to 65 points despite finishing 4th.

God that was dull. The top 7 all on the same tyre strategy, no overtaking.

I thought I might drop off. SIngapore GP used to be exciting but it's shown up today as a poor track where follow the leader is all you get.

Don't think the second place is too pleased at being undercut by his own team for the win!
