Yes, there is, but I think that the boat and caravan should be reversed as I think the caravan is going to be heavier than the boat and will be able to assert some influence over the boat in its current configuration.

Here in France I once saw a sight which made me do a double take, I was driving on an elevated section of an urban autoroute and passing over a roundabout underneath, a commercial vehicle was towing a string of 15 or 20 identical goods trailers nose to tail and taking up more than half of the roundabout.

 

I was past the scene very quickly and could only speculate on what was going on, I reckon it was the manufacturer moving them between production sites or perhaps from the factory to the distribution centre or sales site, it could only have been from one side of the roundabout to the other, it was an industrial area.

 

The thought of the ensemble going on a long journey, taking a wrong turn and having to do a U turn does not bear thinking about!

which became a resurgent hit again a few years ago, i think because of "Glee" using it in an episode. but also an Irish radio host started playing it almost daily and drove it up to no 1, so every dj had to play it everyday... i cant stand the song as a result of the months of over play 🙄

Not a chuckle, more of a WTF? I was putting the rear bumper back on my 1U VRS last night (woman not looking what she was doing) and I noticed the lower centre screws plastic insert was missing. I know I have some in the other unit but could not be bothered to get drenched opening it up so I thought, sod it, do it another day. I put my hand in my left overall pocket to retrieve the final screw and pulled the exact correct brand new plastic insert nut N 908 338 01 out of my pocket! Like, WTF, where did that come from? 😕

50 + years ago my father and I were driving to my grandfathers in Cornwall overnight, when the car broke down, dad who knew little about cars took off the distributor cap and saw a loose wire, the connection plate to the moving contact on the points had broken off, the car had been serviced the week before by Hometune (anyone remember those days?) the 14 year old JR had watched the mobile mechanic obsessively.

 

My Father said words to the effect of "we are foutu!", it was the early hours of the morning and we had no breakdown cover, with a flourish I whipped out the old pair of points from the breast pocket of my denim shirt, that gives you an idea of how obsessive I was 🤣

 

But for the breakdown I might still be carrying them to this day together with my pocket knife and mini maglite neither of which have I been seperated from since travelling in 2004.

 

Obsession is a gift for life!
