That the animation only works when opening is normal. If you also want it when closing, then you have to replace your BCM.

There is no coding for this.

Do you have the partnumber of the bcm and wil it fit a 2016 superb?

BCM was replaced otherwise matrix headlights and facelift tail lights wouldn’t work. It has to be extra coding

Definitely works as my superb is 2016 and I fitted the latest BCM last july. I will do an OBDeleven scan tomorrow and send u the part number

Did you have the full facelift done to your 2016 and do you have open and close animations for the rear lights?

 

if so, do you have a full autoscan of your vehicle? I would be very interested to see it!

I had the front end and rear end done, everything (apart from the nonsense trim across the boot). Unfortunately only the unlock animation works that’s why I was hoping someone got a copy of the code to have the animation for locking as well. It seems though some people believe there’s no coding so I’m a bit confused

you have a 2020+ bcm? And yet still no closure animation.

im wondering if it could be a power supply to the rear lamp issue, possibly turning power off before the animation gets a chance to run?

I’ll be honest with you , I have no idea what it is but I would be very curious to compare my coding with a original FL coding. The guys that did the upgrade on my car said that I should’ve had both unlock and lock animation and they will try to send me the coding. Still waiting. Anyway, this is my BCM

It's a BCM with DQ at the end.

I'm not familiar with that, my source names another BCM, which also works.

Like I said, it's not easy to code. The animation is in the BCM and if you would have to change the EEPROM.

 

So CG is the hardware version used up till 05/2017 so that hasnt been replaced.

The Software DQ Is harder to tell what that is from sadly!

At least it's not 100% correct for the facelift. It's already a facelift BCM, but probably not with all functions.

I have the option to make a log from a octavia whit te animation when unlocking and locking.

 

I think its te same coding as the superb?

Doesn't help much with the Superb, since the O4 has a different BCM.

And even if so, what or where should the coding be?

@JRRS @ApertureS Hello! Have you implemented all the functions in the video? If you can, please tell me the lighting channels of the headlights and rear taillights in BCM. I only know that the channel name starts with "Leuchte".

Nothing changes at the back. All lights are the same channels as the vFL. You don't have to change anything.
I don't know beforehand.

Quite the opposite, a lot of the leuchte channels need their brightness and also their bulb types changing. 
you also need to create a new leuchte channel 27 for the dynamic side of things

You don't have to, you can change it. The dimming of the turn signal has to be changed, the rest is the same.

That is correct, but the cable must also be available on the BCM. And you don't have to block this, the lights still work. You just don't have the animation.

This is the animation, for this you need to recreate a channel in the BCM, pull the cable. And then also have the right BCM, with the vFL BCM that is not possible.

Look for the FL and vFL circuit diagrams and all BCM channels are listed there.

Don't know about the facelift, but with the pre-facelift u need Version B of the Bi-Xenon headlights to get the eyelashes to work, otherwise don't bother with any coding or apps.
