You can also optionally update your maps from "1810" to "2010" version here

Hi I´m looking for stock firmware for my mib2 5l0035200b SW0245 HW22. I think its the MST2_EU_SK_PQ_P0245T. A quick look around didn't gain me much.

Been trying to do an emergency update with 0253 but it keeps halting and red screening at 11/96 cpuplus: aimdata, so was thinking of trying stock fw. But I’m not gonna rule out the possibility of my file being corrupted, so yes will gladly try it out.

Is yours 100% a PQ not ZR?

Do you know if it has been hacked?

Last one is either your source was corrupt, or your media is with bad sectors.

 

I will prepare meanwhile the firmware and try to see if I have older.

1 sd card slot, side label says MIB STD2 PQ + /nav, label on top says technisat so I figured it it was the right fw. Don’t know about software hacked, but no physical signs of patching. Is it possible to check for bad sectors via serial connection?

Sorry, I did lookup part number and it's definitly PQ Technisat.

I don't know if you can check the storage inside the system itself, it will be locked away, my thoughts were about the SD Card media doing the firmware update, as someone had big trouble recently caused by bad card.

End of 2021 i upgraded to version 480, is that still the latest version?

No buddy , that looks like the latest SW I’m sure. That’s the one I’m trying to get but messed my screen up in the process now I have to get it fixed

I run the public beta versions of iOS and have no problems with CarPlay, so I suspect a setup problem not a MIB or iOS problem.

 

Have you checked Settings, General, CarPlay on your iPhone?

Yes, i checked every setting posible.

 

my car doesn’t appear in setting>carplay.

i have a new iphone which was never connected to car. 
 

in the past carplay used to work with an older iphone. Also AA working just fine…

Two things to try:

- another iPhone in your car, to see if CarPlay is still enabled in your MIB

- your iPhone in another car with known working CarPlay

 

These are to work out if the problem is your new iPhone or whether the MIB has lost the FeC code for CarPlay (it's not the same FeC code as for AA)

I tried 2 different Iphones in my car, none of them worked...

Then it sounds like the FeC code that activates CarPlay has somehow been lost since AA works but uses a different FeC code.

60800 is carplay code and is enabled.

it’s strange that i tried almost every possible way to make it work but with no success..
