I think the new update to android auto has messed up a lot...mines now not working just showing me the phone that is available

Yes, I can see a menu with two options, one of which is "Software update/versions"  and there under "Update" I have an option to select a source "SD card". Is that we should be looking for or you need any other version number - there are so many in this menu

Update went on like a charm for about 15-20 minutes. Only thing which worries me is that I started getting this error via VCDS.

This will be because the car was not able to talk to the factory to verify the update (you may remember the screen asking for diagnostic connection test)

 

It's a stored "non" fault, it doesn't affect operation.

The 2nd fault code is the very common one that occurs when you do not have online connection to factory.

Easily fixed, https://forums.ross-tech.com/index.php?threads/18798/

 

The 1st fault code might sadly need you to go online to make a possible new coding of the unit (though so far no one has complained of loosing function!)

So you maybe wise to test all things on the system to check out each function is intact, and maybe no physical errors are seen, so you can then ignore the coding change.

After some Weeks i got problems with the Touchscreen, maybe its Hardware fault.

But i would try to go back to old Firmware 245T

Hardware errors are typical for touch issues in MIB STD2 PQ units. Pls write me PM and I will check in th evening  if I have older firmware - just keep in mind it's definitely not recommended to downgrade firmware. Moreover, it can be done via Manual SWDL only which requires developer mode to be activated first.

Hello guys. just bought a 2020/11 kodiak. next week i go to official service for checks. as i saw there is an update for my vin number (navigation 2022/45). problem is that i don't have any sd slots in the unit in glove box compartment...? i have unit with knobs so probably it is amudsen. i have 3V0035820B, H22 and 0270 software unit if that helps what i have. i am not planning to update here (i dont even know how :). are these firmware updates just thing for home hacks or guys in the service shop also do that during check?
