mib-helper shows that it is possible to install this version MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T, but when I try to install it in the car, it says that this version is not compatible with the car's infotainment.
Please tell me which version do I need to be able to update it?

Hi everyone, recently picked up a 2017 Octavia and just fine tuning a few bits on it. One item on my list is if the firmware is up to date on the ICE. I have already updated the maps, just checking the unit firmware itself now.

is there somewhere this update? I have this one right now.

Picked up my 2020 Karoq today and was just looking to see if the system needs to be updated or if it even can be. It didn’t seem to want to do it while hotspotting to my phone (which I guess I’m conditioned with tech updating with a connection these days). So how is this done?

Sorry if this has already been discussed. I’ve tried updating my sat nav. It states ECE1 2024/25 which would suggest I have. But I still can’t find a range of different locations on the sat nav as it says they don’t exist. 
 

Please can someone help?

When you say update do you mean firmware or maps?

 

ECE1 2024/2025 is the latest maps for a MIB2 - what infotainment system do you have? Swing, Bolero, Amundsen or Columbus?

 

BTW as this is the Octavia III forum it might be best to also ask in the Rapid forum?

Mine is Amundsen MIB2. I can’t even find my house on it. I don’t know what firmware is or how to do it.

It’s a factory fit and working perfectly it just doesn’t seem to have my property on there as well as a few others. The houses have been built a few years now.

That's missing data in the maps, which are IIRC made by a company called "Here".

 

You need to report the missing data to them and .... wait possibly several years (it took 5 years for my last report to make it into the maps!).

Unit must be patched (swdownload file) to install MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T
