I haven't updated my 2018 Octavia since I bought it in 2020 and sometimes I get apple carplay issues when it randomly disconnects. How can I update my system to address that? Screenshots below:

Thank you. Is it possible to upgrade to that firmware with a usb stick? Online Update button on the car didn't work, and couldn't find the file on the Skoda Update Portal. I suspect we have to pay for it at the service?

Just a reminder:

1. format SD (best max 32GB) under FAT32

2. unpack to root (metainfo2.txt and all the folders must be placed directly on SD, not in any folder)

3. insert SD card into the slot

4. enter Service Menu (long press MENU button)

Please can you send any relevant updates (and instructions on how to install them) and let me know if it is possible/how I can get smartlink activated and link with Android Auto.

Hi guys.
I have a question for you.
I bought a connecting cable to power the radio from an external source. The reason was to connect diagnostics on the table.
For this, a gateway control unit is needed.
I have everything. However, after connecting the vcds diagnostics, the diagnostics only see the gateway. It does not see the 5f infotainment unit. It does not communicate. As you can see in the photos. I was a little surprised that when turning on Bluetooth on the radio it says, "turn on the ignition",
Does anyone have any ideas how to connect the diagnostics so that everything communicates.
