My Skoda Karoq 2018 has SmarkLink problems and others with similar issue suggested that the software update fixed this for them.

Currently I have this installed:

Based on the MIB Data I need: MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T

pab567 verykindly sent me the link to the firmware for our 2018 Karoq. We have poor DAB reception and smartlink/carplay connection issues occasionally. I am hoping that the firmware update will help.

I am assuming that having a stock OEM radio with nothign od done to it I am not risking a loss of functionality or anything by running the firmware update.

@pab567 is there a newer vision that 0480 für a MST2_EU_SK_ZR available? I do have issues with my new iPhone/Carplay and bluetooth in general. Thanks in advance.

No - at least I don;t know anou any newer than 0480.

This is because logos DB has been updated as well, just re-save stations and logos will appear again

PM

1. format SD (best max 32GB) under FAT32

2. unpack to root (metainfo2.txt and all the folders must be placed directly on SD, not in any folder)

3. insert SD card into the slot

4. enter Service Menu (long press MENU button)

I'd love some advice on upgrading my firmware please... I am currently running MST2_EU_SK_ZR_PO253ST. My bluetooth connection drops out regularly, or the audio goes garbled, and it's very annoying.

A bit of internetting has me believing I could upgrade to MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T. I see that a I'm far from alone now having signed up here!

I'd love some advice on if this would be a helpful upgrade, and if so where I might get it please?

I would like to update my MIB firmware for My Skoda Fabia from 2018 because of inconsistent Android Auto connection via USB.

My current MIB version is MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0468T and I would like to update it to version MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T.

Hi i have a Skoda superb 2016 mib-helper says the latest official uppdate for my car is 0453 and possible uppdate is MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T

Thank you buddy. Ran the update today and dusted off my VCDS setup and MicroCAN cable and could update the 5F module. No errors and all working.

Now to figure out how to get it to recognise the new map SD card.

@Reqit It supports version 0480, but without knowledge and necessary things you can't do it. The maximum you can update it to version 0253.
