Amundsen MIB2 Firmware Update

Featured Replies

I have MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0245T installed, SW MU version 0245, HW version H25

As I understand, MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0253T is latest recommended version.
Can someone share file please. https://mibsolution.one/ is not working currently :(

Or maybe MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T

I`d like to install mib2std tool afterwards to get smartlink working

@pab567 Maybe you can help here? :)

For smart link, I believe you need access to OBD11 to activate the Green Engineering Menu (GEM).

Hopefully someone will confirm as I also want to activate it, but I do not have OBD11.

yes, GEM is not activated yet. But I`ll get access to PC with VCDS any other day.

@nekas I sent you download link in PM. What is part number of your unit? If you have Bolero (version without OEM sat nav) you will NOT be able to activate SmartLink without opening and soldering glove box unit.

Hi,
Thank you!
Oh, was not aware of this.
My part number is 5Q0035840A

Bolero => you will NOT be able to activate SmartLink without opening and soldering glove box unit.

Oh. Can you share some more instructions?
Is it needed to get smartlink working or to get mib toolbox installed?

Yes, it's required for each of them.

Hello,
my 2018 Skoda Kodiaq has
SW Train Version: MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0472T
Part Number: 5Q0035864C
Software Version: H29.319.51_STD2Nav_EU

So I guess I need the legendary MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T file for latest firmware.
But - like all others here - cannot download from https://mibsolution.one (Error 1033)

@pab567 Would you please be so kind as to send me a download link?

PM :)

Hi,
I would like to ask you for help.
I have an Octavia 3rd generation. I would like to activate android auto. The current firmware version is MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0245T. The current firmware should be MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T. But I can't find it anywhere. Mibsolution is not working.
So I want to ask if I can run android auto with the old firmware 02 and with the Patch
MIBSTD2_Toolbox-v1.4.2.
Alternatively, please also send 480.

Thank you very much for the advice.
Have a nice day.
David

My 2019 Superb has issue that Android Auto won't start always. Shows that no compatible phone is connected. Also sometimes when it connects then all colors are messed up and need to reconnect. And of course it's so slow, but that's probably hardware limitations. Is there anything I could update?

Installed SW train version: MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0478T

Installed SW MU version: 0478

Part number: 5Q0035840C

Software version: H29.319.93_STD2_Plus_EU

Hardware: H41

Software: 0478

Media Codec: 4101.0.0.0

Bluetooth version: C300

SmartLink: 4101.438.1.5

Radio database version: 1.10.10

USB surfstick version: 4101.438.1.5

@pab567 Could you please advise me :) :)

Thank you very much

Evening all,

I have a  Octavia Mk3 2016 which I plan on updating the firmware so that the App button on the bigger display will work I believe I need the 0480T firmware to get this function.

Once that’s been updated I’m guessing I’ll need to re enable smart link via tool box

SW Train Version: MST2_EU_SK_ZR_PO245T

Part Number: 5Q0035874A

Software Version: H25.14.78_STD2Nav_EU

https://mibsolution.one  doesn’t seem to be working at the moment

@pab567 Would you please be so kind to send me a download link to the latest firmware.

Hi,

@pab567 , Thanks again for sharing files.

A lot of files on the download, i extract everything on an SD card (have to Remove glove box on the Škoda Fabia III).

I put all files at / of the SD card, but device does Not recognise …

Is there a spécific process for updating ?

Could Be done on usb key instead SD card ?

Thanks again for explanations, I’m Not an expert …

Thanks !!!😊

Hi @pab567 Is there an update for my unit please? Thank you for all your effort on this never-ending multi-year thread :)

Possible from SD but only for units with OEM navigation. Fo non-navigation ones it has to be dismantled, open and soldered.

Thanks !!!😊

1. format SD (best max 32GB) under FAT32

2. unpack to root (metainfo2.txt and all the folders must be placed directly on SD, not in any folder)

3. insert SD card into the slot

4. enter Service Menu (long press MENU button)

All check your PMs

Yes yes, it is an OEM navigation.

So should I keep the old firmware or should I upload the new one you sent me? And then use the patch.

Thank you very much for sending it.

I appreciate your help.

David

First you have to install MIB STD2 Toolbox, then use it to patch swdownload, then flash with 0480, then install MIB SDT2 Toolbox again and finally use MIB STD2 Toolbox to enable whatever you need.

Thanks @pab567 , everything works perfectly. Just Radio logo disappeared. Nothing important for me ...

Hi @pab567 i 0475 and want to update to the latest version 0480 can i also get this file?
