Because maps are the same and with Beetle you cannot make an error (there is ONLY Discover Media = Amundsen) whil with Passat there are multiple options.

Mate just updated the latest maps from vw portal. The problem stays the same.

I managed to update my maps and i tried to call VW to update my firmware and they said they do not do that in no way. So long story short i am here asking for help updating my device

 

Hi there, I'm wondering if pab you could please send me the info I need to update my firmware? 

 

Also, is the install simply putting it on to sd card, into the car, then updating? 

 

If yes, would I confuse the car if I also put the navigation update on the same sd card? Maybe I should do them separate?
