More mods completed today, badges and genuine LED light unit installed in the glovebox as that’s the only one that wasn’t an LED inside already. The Kodiaq rear lettering is slightly bigger than the Superb one but it’s hardly noticeable and I quite like it. Also added the rear door lights and used OE LED panels in all the doors. More mods to come 😁

The colour is mental in the sun.. :-) Mine just looks like a huge mushroom when the sun shines on it..

Kinda wishing I'd ordered a sportline now! A dragon green SL was my alternate choice at the time! Yours looks great. 

 

Are the rear door lights plug and play or do they need coding?

Thanks! The colour is the stand out feature for sure. Annoyingly it now has a mark by the badge as the paint has been repaired in this area before and not very well so now it needs doing again properly!!

If you have a car without rear door controllers you need to tap into a live and a switched ground that doesn’t power when the door is closed. If you have a car with rear door controllers you can pin to those and code.

For reasons, I've been travelling in one regularly recently. Nice ride and quiet with it, plus I think you could hold a dance in the back!!

 

One query though; Is it my laptop or is "dragon green" more of a yellow?

It’s sort of yellow. VW call it Lime Yellow, Skoda call it Dragon Green.

In France the Skoda catalog says 'Dragon Yellow'... So... Green / Yellow, who really knows / cares? Anyway definitely not a common color!  Good point that some owners dare!

Here in Oz, the colour is just called 'Dragon Skin', no yellow or green in the description. 

My MY19 wagon/combi/estate is Dragon Skin and the registration describes it as 'Gold'.

 

Skoda Superbs aren't exactly common here in Oz (last year they sold 270 across the country) , and I've seen a total of ONE other DG Superb here in Melbourne (A city of 5 million) in the last 2 years.  

 

Makes it easy to find the car in a carpark!

I was going to leave this till tomorrow but I’m too excited! Phases 1 and 2 of the ambient lighting project are now complete, first job was colour palette upgrade from 10 to 30 colours and the second job was the colour changing floor lighting to match the screens, doors and dash strips. More is to come but for now I’m super duper happy 😃

Sasha, any chance you can share the reward door puddle light mod? Whewr would one tap in the lines if I don't have them? I ordered the superskoda ones for both front and rear but I don't have any rear door instalation. Or is there a module I can buy to have it original? Do you maybe have the part number, mind you I'm in Europe so maybe they are different here..
