Software Update available for Bolero?

Featured Replies

Thank you @radoszczak. I was able to update my friend's Bolero to fw742. I also found this link helpful: https://disk.yandex.ru/d/1V1uBTc8ssc3zA.

I have done this in in correct order, as I wrote earlier, SW0469 -> SW741 -> SW742. Longest update was to SW741, and after first reboot, it entered the system but after a while started to do update again. You have to let him continue and think, cause it took more than 10 minutes to do it. I share this as i wasted 40 mins on this, trying to do update in system and wondering why it rebooted itself. Update to SW742 went in less than 5 mins.

Hi. Have you read whole topic? Android auto issue with samsung can be resolved only with fw1800.

Yes I read this topic. My phone is Motorola edge 50( with android 14). Sometimes I can connect wirelessly but most of time the car told me is not possible connect and I have to use cable.I hope that this new firmware could help me resolve it.

Hi All,

I've upgraded my infotainment but Skoda Connect doesn't work.

I've done removal of Skoda Connect account through the My Skoda app. And also put the infotainment back to Factory Default.

After adding the car in My Skoda app, recreating Skoda Connect account. It tries to activate my car. But the car doesn't accept the Code on that site and put in Car screen keypad.

When I press  the Info or Repair buttons (not sure about translation but it's the two button next to ceiling light with the  'i' and the 'tool') it gives this message;

image.thumb.jpeg.c18c61a7497df185b7201185991b0b15.jpeg

Is it possible to downgrade the software to see if Skoda Connect picks up again?

I have MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0478T available to me, although my original firmware was MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0472T.

I assume this red sphere also indicates something is wrong?

Thanks for helping out!

Hello,

I got Kushaq 2023 in UAE which seems to be made in India. I guess it is India specific model.

With my Samsung S23 Android Auto only works in wireless mode but NOT via cable. I tried different cables. Also I found that there no issue with other phones like Oneplus 12, even Samsung A53.

Following is my SW Details

image.thumb.jpeg.bb11e7ed743c8bffc3e2ac72f28b656e.jpeg

I have ready that many people have updated to 1800 and their issue was resolved. My local service center simply refused stating that there no update.

Since I have read this thread carefully, I have few queries. Any help will be really appreciated.

1) I need to update to 1798 then 1800 - Is my assumption correct?

2) I need to format USB with exFAT or FAT32. I have 128GB Type C USB drive. - Can I make smaller partition of exFAT or FAT32 ?

3) Can I just put car in ignition on and do update? I did not understand "Battery on charger" thing.

4) How long update takes ? From 1790 to 1798 and 1798 to 1800.

5) Can anyone share again latest update files for 1798 and 1800

Many Thanks in advance.

1. I updated immediately from 1310 to 1800 without intermediate updates. Everything became OK. 2. Use an OTG adapter and a 4 G flash drive (I did this) 3. Connect the charger to the car battery. When the voltage drops, the process may stall at an incomprehensible stage. 4. See point 1 – the whole process took about 20 minutes. 5. There is a file (MEN3_EU_SK370_P3355L_1800). Where to pour it?

Thanks for quick reply.

I have 128GB USB with Type C , I did make exFAT partition of 16GB out of it.

It is not getting recognized.

I do not have charger to connect to battery ,but will voltage drop in just 20 mins.

Can I run with ignition on?

I got files from link in earlier posts.

Update from my end. Somewhere I found that pulling and putting back the fuse #17 (instrument panel + emergency call) could help.

It did! Problem solved!

For anyone searching how to pull the fuse. The fuse box under the hood contains a tool for it.

So I updated with ignition on , first to 1798 and then 1800.

I can confirm that Android Auto is working with my S23 via Cable and also via wireless.

This was really bugging me since I bought this car last year !

Many Thanks for this community.

As I understand it, everything worked out for you, is that so?

For me it did. For TimonPumba I don't know.

I resolved problem with android auto/ Apple car that I switched wifi_hotspot 5g to off and enabled 2.4g.

Can you please tell me which changes are in new firmware? Or exists some change set? Thank

Hi everyone,

I read all of the messages on this topic. Everything is clear, but the version of my car seems unique. Only one guy mentioned the same version, and no one replied to his message on this topic.

My car's current version is MEN3_EU_SK370_P1043L and its MU SW is 1540. My question is; to which latest version can I update from the current one? And I want to learn if we need or if is it a suggestion to update every version step by step until the latest one.

Thank you very much for your help!

I would also like to know the answer to this.

I would try to update directly to 1800. Yours fw version seems to be somwhere between 1310 and 1760, as they are available on the Internet.

I have the save SW version. But I am not going to update it so far.

MEN3_EU_SK370_P0113P_0469

MEN3_EU_SK370_P2135P_0742

MEN3_EU_SK370_P1185L_1760

MEN3_EU_SK370_P2345L_1790

The only one I would suggest is 0742 to try (it won't load if it's not compatible)

If it doesn't load, then 0469 is your current version and the end of the line.

Could I get the link to MEN3_EU_SK370_P1185L_1760

Or for

MEN3_EU_SK370_P2345L_1790

My Skoda Kamiq 2021 is on 1310 and my phone won't connect to android auto

Can't get the dealership to update it for me

You need 1800 fw to fix android auto problem.

Link is attached in this topic.

Hi all,

I have a Skoda Scala built in 2019 and a Bolero radio.

Version: MEN3_EU_SK370_P9305P MU 0463

My questions:

  1. Up to which last version number can I update the radio?

  2. In what order do I have to install the versions?

  3. Where can I get the versions and is there an installation manual?

Thanks and best regards

Hello all. I wanted to update the topic.

I updated this strange software to version 1760 > 1790 >1798 and 1800. No errors appeared during these updates.

AA just worked flawlessly on version 1800.

Why don't we collect all the bugs in few latest SW version 🙂

Who have got SW 1800 and 1798 could you please share your bugs (if they exist).
