I’ve had mine since the end of December. Car was built with the updated software. No major issues. There is an active service campaign to replace the cruise control stalk as it caused issues with many cars. Mines booked in to have it fixed although it’s not been an issue for me.

The auto brakes are frustrating. I’ve learnt to manoeuvre very slowly as that seems to stop it triggering. Not had it go off driving at speed yet.

Hi Cedron, what’s the issue with the cruise control you’re talking about? I use mine a lot particularly in France. Never any problem with it. John

  • 2 weeks later...

Further to my post on 14/06 while I was in France this last week my Cruise control and EBA stopped working. Have been to dealers and they say there is a factory recall for this. Booked in for next week.

Can anyone remember th post about using a Mk3 Superb dipstick in the Mk4 which it is not supplied with. Just a blanking plug on the Mk4 1.5 petrol engine.

Not a Recall or FACTORY RECALL if the Registered Keeper was not told there was a Recall.

So just a TPI and people might get told if at a Dealership, if they use them, like because having an issue.

So a Skoda Secret Service, on a need to know basis, Workshop campaign. 'Recall action' Kidollogy.

You can always look at your own past posts, or others can or a simple search works.

Dealer has the part number, no idea why he didn't check in the system and asked you to provide it.

Man I spoke to wanted the PIN or reg no of the car to look up the relevant part for it. I will try again with a different man.
