My deepest thanks to everyone who made today so good.

Copy that rooboy - what a great day!

Perfect weather, good location, slicks on my RS - and only one black flag before 11 a.m. - does it get any better? I think not! (anyway it never happened the way the marshal saw it - what DO they know?)

That inflatable Boeing 747 was the biz eh? I couldn't see where the air line (no pun intended) was plugged in but it stayed inflated all day.

Top spot of the day?? Going out in Group A at 3.30 and 'doing' both those Toyota Supras with NOS - YESSSS!!!!

I wonder what I could do with decent brakes, harder shocks and a tad more Jabba?

All round an excellent day - got some suggestions for next time though............. see what others say first.

:D:D:) Whoooooa what a day! I had such a wicked day...and I didn't even get drive on the track.

Firstly thank you's - Des - a most triumphant event, cheers m8 for organising it!

P.S. Jon, I was dissapointed by the lack of fares you got and the fact you don't go sarf of da river...!!!

Absoloutely Bloody Fantastic !!!!!! :D

First, big thanks to all involved the organisation, Des in particular ;)

2nd, big thanks to the Staff at Brunters for a perfectly prepared track and first class & relaxed organisation

Well done to all who went on track for some excellent driving and no major incidents :)

Also thanks to those who just came to watch, take pics and generally support the day.

I think its safe to declare it a Roaring success :drive: :D

I agree, fantastic day and I got just as suburnt as I always seem to manage.

We used factor 30 and both look like freshly boiled lobsters...

No matter because it was a great day

Many , many thanks to Des for organising a brilliant day , and to everyone who attended to make a great day out .

But ..oh dear , my poor bald head is very red ....could have been worse but for the intervention of some factor 35 ( thanks Mr and Mrs Q )

Taxi_.jpg

Jon's Acne Carriage? 'cos it would knock 'spots' off other taxi's!!

Brilliant day, really enjoyed myself, and it was a pleasure to match a few more names to faces (even if I am totally useless and won't recognise anybody next time round). Many thanks to Des and the rest of the organsiers - and to Nick and Colin for taking me around the track and showing what I was missing by not trying in my own car :)

It's a relief to know that I am not the only one to look like a boiled lobster (memo to self - pack the sunscreen next time, you stupid old fool! :( )

The sticker is now proudly displayed on my rear quarter light.

(EDIT: Mrs KLB arrived home twenty minutes after me. It took three of us to unload her shopping from the car. She had a good day out, too! :D )

Ack !!

I knew there was something i forgot, i was out on track when the stickers were distributed :grumpy:

Same as really. Top day and great to see so many Skoda's in one place!

Well done Des for organising such a great day. First of many I hope! :D

I need to shock a few more people with the ickle one! ;)

I too am very red and raw!

Had a great day, nice to see so many cars turned up.

Great to chat to some fellow Briskodians, hope to see some of you again soon on our rolling road day :)

Excellent day out, just sorry for Des that he couldn't have had more fun before his clutch melted. Just goes to show how on the edge the standard tranny is with power tweaks over 250bhp/lbf.ft.

Quite a few of you are looking for Track pads after today and I offered to sort out a second group buy for Ferodo DS2500s (not wishing to tread on SkodiRS's toes). Can Dan_P, Mike_G, Mannyo and any other takes send me a PM to confirm and I'll see what I can arrange from the same source as last time. Price may have gone up a tad.

Chris

Its all been said already....

was a amazing day.. lovely wether.. (bit too sunny if you ask me):rofl:

Loooooottsssss of skodas.. lots of track action... like the answer to the question, "how much faster is a 600bhp supra in a straight line than ffelans uber-octy?"

learned alot about my cars handling... no matter what i tried i couldnt get it sideways enough.

BIG THANKS to Des for organising it, the easytrack crew for running a fun, well organised and effecient day. and most of all thanks to everyone who turned up to support briskoda...

IM PROUD TO BE A SKODA OWNER AND PROUD TO BE A BRISKODIAN

Just echoing all of the above - a great day out - good to meet faces old and new. Now nursing painful sunburn, but like they say - no pain, no gain.

 Des, supremely orgnanised....

Maybe next time I'll venture out onto the track.........

Second all the good wishes and thanks - Des first and foremost, Colin, Q, Denis for doing the raffle etc ... everyone pitched in. The organisers were very complimentary about us and how easy we are to get on with etc. The weather was almost perfect (perhaps a tad too sunny :D ) and I am the reddest of the lot of you.

All in all, WOW!!!! When's the next one? :D

...and I am the reddest of the lot of you.

:nono:

I'll contest that bold statement of yours, Nick :D
