Odd time of year for this fault, but I reckon JR is probably right. I can't explain the one incident of the 3/4 scale, but I'll bet the master technician at your nearest Main Stealer can't either. What I can do is echo the advice you've already been given to clean the sensor prongs in the expansion bottle if they're accessible, and replace it if they're not.

Telling us which scan tool you have would help here.

I just checked on the procedure for the INR, and the version I saw needs a veinfaume, an adaptor, a blood sample bottle and a machine for every test. So serious question; how are you at catheterising your own veins?

Not that I know of. There are a feed wire, bulb holder and bulb specific to the LH sidelight though, and issues with any of them could also give your reported symptoms.
