  1. As above. I've no videos, but I've seen similar happen twice before.
  2. Well, my immediate thought is that you've pinched one or both front brake pipes.
  3. That could be the issue then. It does depend on the specific manufacturer though, which is why I asked.
  4. From which manufacturer, and was it a mineral, semi synthetic or fully synthetic oil?
  5. In which context, back in the late 1970s I had a set of keys for my Dad's Triumph Toledo. I couldn't use them in the ignition, but I could use one (usually the Triumph boot key) in some of the door/boot locks of all my friends' Fords and Vauxhalls.
  6. It was a variable the last time I saw the official IR tables.
  7. I await with interest your calculations to show that a Scale electric car has an engine swept volume over 1.4 litres.
  8. In English, I'd normally call a part like that an "elbow".
  9. Actually knowing what tyres are fitted, and indeed what sort of payload distribution you had on would help here.
  10. You don't actually need a wobble bar as long as you get the right length. Since you have to buy any tools you need anyway, you may as well buy the wobble bar in case you need one in future.
  11. Which particular snake oil is that?
  12. Some Bayerische Mist Wagons are now transverse engine front wheel drive.
  13. You do realise that a fisheye lens does't give a true sense of distance to the subject?
  14. I've never had any other sort; length, breadth, height and duration.
  15. That will help for sure. The technical issue is that the car is resting on the park brake pawl, and when you try to select N (or D) you're working against a ton and a bit of Skoda.
  16. It stops you even seeing the ignored users messages unless you actively choose to do so.
  17. Exactly. The only way I release strut springs from the clamps is if I'm replacing the springs rather than just the dampers.
  18. Thank you. I had spotted this as a possible issue before ACC was any sort of a thing.
  19. I can't say whether or not it's dangerous without an inspection. I can say I'd be looking to spent more like £1_000 based on the stated issues.
  20. I would say "cheap at half the price", but it's not.
  21. I wouldn't have either. That's a good way to have to deal with an escaping coil spring.
  22. As PetrolDave says. With the extra note that the Motor Insurers' Bureau may compensate you for your claim if you have reported the H&R to the Police.
  23. Yes. Worn pads won't bed to brand new discs.
  24. Fine as far as it goes; I'm one of those people who straight-lines and off-sides twisty single carriageways where safe.
