I do seem to remember seeing that warning, but as mine always reminds me not to forget my mobile, maybe it can't display two messages at a time.

Mine is set to auto lock, which as @Warrior193says can be disabled in the settings menu. I do not get any message when it locks. Are you saying that the windows cannot be operated when the doors lock? My handbrake is not tight.

What engine do you have?

Are the fans running when you're sensing the engine is hotter than normal? That would probably indicate it's doing a regeneration. Are you checking with engine on or off? If fitted does the heating work?

The a/c may just need re-charging with gas. How long have you had the car?

I've only got one hook, so I assume it works for both ends as I've never used it.

Be careful if they're one directional tyres.

There is a breather pipe somewhere. Maybe that's got blocked.

Auto is for ease of driving. Why would you want to keep shifting from D to N and back to D all the time? I use stop start all the time, so at least I'm doing a little bit to help pollution levels.

Were both oils changed?

The Octavia setup is exaxctly the same. If only all maintenance jobs were this easy. I soaked mine in vinegar for a few days and then blew and sucked a few times and it cleared the nozzle.

Using the (supposedly) failure of the SS as a guide to the health of the battery is a non starter. As @ApertureS says there are many reasons for it not to work, Mine can work after a few minutes driving, then a few miles later into the journey it may stop working. It usually works consistently after about an hour. I don't give myself even more grey hairs worrying about it. This is with an almost 11 yr old AGM battery and SS has always been activated.

Did you code the battery?

If it was, it went right over my head 😀
