It can't re-lock itself. Needs manual downwards pressure to close it, then it will lock. Important not to leave the keys in it.

I did this and it popped. After 10 yrs of ownership I didn't know it did that. Thanks for that.

Yes. I haven't tried lifting the lid without pressing the button as it just comes to hand naturally to press the button and raise the lid. I will try it and see what happens.

With the car locked the boot switch will unlock the boot only. Take care not to leave the key in the car as the boot will lock as soon as you close it, although I think the delay time can be extended with coding.

On mine it only unlocks the boot, it doesn't "pop", I have to physically open it with the handle.

Plug and play. It will work as soon as as it's connected.

Coasting means the engine is idling using fuel. With it in gear and going down a hill you're getting the benefits of engine braking and not using any fuel.

There are threads on this subject with no definitive answer. Mine will stay in ECO after a restart, but others will say they have the same problem as you.

I have the same problem. I've got about 2500 files in folders and individual tracks and only about half are visible. Have tried various methods but have given up. Other ppl have many more files and have no problem. For me, it doesn't matter if they're on a card or usb stick, the problem is the same.

I asked how you were checking for codes. Are you using vcd's or obd11?

I guess that means the seatbelt alarm won't work and also the air bag?
