  1. 3VD is a Chinese Superb... That link still has the trip reset button so is not an Octavia cluster. 3V0 would be a normal Superb. An Octavia part would start 5E0. Namely 5E0920790 or 5E0920790A 👍 I think a Chinese Octavia might have 5ED part.
  2. Probably broken clips - I assume you're replacing the other plastics so I'd just wait for them all to arrive. You can see the two clips on the new cover, take a look at see if there is anything for them to clip into. Certainly looks like something has snapped off here:
  3. Based on these links: - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004696403539.html - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004717676841.html They suggest: - it will show a Superb not an Octavia - both the speed/fuel level will be off by 10% - there is a trip reset button which might make finding a suitable trim piece harder Based on that, I would not fit one to my car...
  4. Welcome. The Nov 2019 brochure suggests the VC was not standard on the Challenge I think it might have been on some 2020 versions though... Octavia Brochure Nov 2019.pdf
  5. Not possible with VCDS. You need to have direct access to the BCM EEPROM so you'll need either VCP or ODIS-e
  6. Good chance 5E0035820A is missing the hardware to support an RVC. At least based on this old post: https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/443780-retrofitting-a-reversing-camera/#findComment-4989995 It might worth checking with @pab567 as he tends to know most things and maybe able to suggest a replacement unit if needed
  7. Seems very unlikely DAB will ever work as there is no socket for a DAB antenna Based on these pictures, it's missing a black fakra to the left of the white double fakra...
  8. Yes - MK3 Octavia front wipers are handed. - LHD part number is 5E1 998 001 - RHD part number is 5E2 998 001 There are a few other part numbers as it looks like it's been superseded, but the initial 5E1 vs 5E2 means it's different for LHD and RHD. If you want Bosch areotwins that'll be: - LHD part number A620S or A419S (former is 475mm passenger side, latter is 450mm passenger side) - RHD part number A860S (only a 475mm passenger side option) Simple reason is that areowipers have a front facing profile so if the attachment clip isn't in the centre or can't be reversed, it would be backwards... It took longer to write this reply than google for the answer
  9. The manual suggests the following options, it might be worth checking and trying some others:
  10. Can you start with a full auto scan from vcds? If you haven't already, I would also suggest taking adaptation maps in CSV if every module. At least the way you know what coding/adaptions your car had to start with. The instructions you're following probably aren't perfect for you car as there are various cameras over the years which are slightly different. I assume you've currently made no changes and everything is working as expected?
  11. I think the AFS master be behind the climate control panel as I'm pretty sure the MK2 Superb is similar to the MK2 Octavia in this regard. Snippet of a wiring diagram: If I remember correctly: - J745 is the AFS master - G76 is the rear sensor - G78 is the front sensor
  12. At a guess, it's either an issue with the internal voltage regulator in the AFS master control module or there is a wiring issue between the AFS master and sensors shorting out the power line... I expect both sensors share a power supply but I know they have separate pins on the connector for each sensor. Should be a very easy job to disconnect the AFS master connector and then beep the wiring out to each sensor to rule out issues.
  13. You'll need to replace them... Normal LED headlights are handed for either LHD or RHD traffic. The option in the infotainment is only for short term use and just drops the beam height rather switches the pattern. This is why there are sperate part numbers for LHD and RHD LED headlights
  14. Welcome... There is a 2019 UK brochure here: https://www.roberteardleyskoda.co.uk/brochures/04-01-2019/superb.pdf Although other regions may have different options, the S is typically the lowest spec Superb and that brochure suggests it doesn't have cruise control. The main difference is that all other models get more options! Whether that's important is down to you but given you've already bought it, it's probably too late to change
  15. It's most likely to be the water pump sleeve.... Take a look at this thread:
  16. Just over 70k... It'll very much depend on the roads and your alloys. Mine are 19s and they've had some massive hits in that time including his hard enough to buckle the alloys and even pop a tyre on the M11. It was dark and wet, whatever I hit took out about 10 other cars too, one hell of a bang though! My old MK2 TDI on 16s was still going strong at 190k on the originals. It's very much down to luck I think 🤔
  17. I think it's quite an uncommon headunit unfortunately, looks like 3V0035869C to me... As it's an all-in-one unit, a dealer will only be able to offer a complete replacement hence the price. If it were me, I'd be tempted to open it up and replace the LCD. You might be able to find a part number sticker attached to the rear of the LCD and then try Aliexpress/eBay or find an identical used headunit to get the screen from. There is one hopefully version but the description and photos don't match so you should check before buying: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/335358189693
  18. I'm afraid not - the inbuilt nav can only use releases from VAG. They are currently updated every ~6 months but as you can see, the actual map data is normally ~1 year older. I believe there is an online portal to request updates to the maps but it'll probably have an 18 month lead time between your request and finally making it to a release. I would suggest connecting your phone and using Android Auto or Apple CarPlay as 'connected' nav apps such as Waze or Google maps tend to be much more up to date
  19. The buttons tend to work across multiple cars so there is a good chance they will just work given both are MQB platform. At least assuming they have the same buttons on them. Swapping them is also pretty easy but the plastic frame is easily damaged so if be tempted to try the new buttons first if they look suitable. No idea what colour lighting they'll have in afraid. I think both those years are using the older airbag design so it should all be pretty easy...
  20. Correct, when it first released it was only wired. A later upgrade added the wireless functionally. Depending on the age of the headunit, it may support wired only or indeed both wired and wireless. There are both OEM and aftermarket headunits which support wireless android auto without a dongle
  21. Yup, that's correct. There is a changelog here too: https://www.aawireless.io/en/support/firmware-changelog
  22. It enables wireless android auto on a headunit which already supports android auto. If your headunit doesn't already support android auto, it won't do anything I'm afraid...
  23. I've been using a AAWireless Two for the last week or so. Not had any issues yet, seems pretty quick to connect and is completely stable/lag free so far
  24. I've used https://www.lllparts.co.uk/ previously, just depends where has stock and the price
