Airbox for Fabia VRS 1.9 tdi
The airbox for the vRS is 6Q0129601AJ. I had this problem recently as well and got fed up waiting for sellers to get back to me to tell me they didn't have one or wouldn't post it to me so I ordered a new one from TPS. I actually just fitted it tonight. It is quite an expensive option but at least its the right part and it does come with a new air filter. Has the rear tab on yours broken by any chance?

Skoda Fabia Abs light and brake noises
You'll maybe need a more advanced scanning tool like VCDS that can get more info from the car.

Skoda Fabia Abs light and brake noises
You possibly have a faulty sensor or wheel bearing. If you get a scan for fault codes while the light is on, this should point you in the right direction.

Damp patch under back
Yeah or under the middle of the car and you get folk telling you excitedly that your car is leaking something!!!

My TPMS is playing up.
Interesting, did you have ABS and ESP fault lights on the dash too?

Fabia mk2 1.6 tdi injector problem
Yeah agreed with @sepulchraveand @joedemp just replace the faulty one. Obviously if you're feeling flush you can do all four, they will probably need doing eventually but they are items that you can just replace as they fail. Gives you time to save up for them!

Fabia mk2 1.6 tdi injector problem
It is a known issue with the 1.6 TDi. I had one go on my Roomster. The job of replacing the injectors themselves isn't too difficult and if you're alright with a set of spanners you should manage no bother. But the new units do have to be coded to the car with VCDS as you might well know.

Front Assist Warning Light
I've had this happen in a few different vehicles including my Karoq. I sometimes think even a bug close enough would set it off. I also think, especially this time of year when said bugs are about and flying themselves into the fronts of our cars, their remains aren't helping the poor sensors and as such I try and keep the sensor block clear of insect remains. Whether or not it makes any odds in reality, I'm not sure but it certainly can't hurt. Keeping the roadside clear of signs though...

Roomster newbie
I have a set of original, unused textile mats and a pair of rear door window blinds available. Send me a message if you're interested. As for the car, it doesn't matter the spec, they are one of the most practical vehicles. Get those back seats folded up or even taken out and you've got a van. A few on here have turned them into campers so definitely check out their threads if you haven't already for ideas. Hope you find your's as useful as many others have.

Damaged key
The key blade has to be cut specifically for your car and the new transponder chip then has to be coded to the car with the computer. There is a possibility that someone out there could do it for you but it's most likely a dealer only job unfortunately.

I bought a Skoda Fabia 1.6 TDI 2010 model today. DPF warning light has come on.
Try getting a photo of it that you can read the part number on. But if the car is immobile now and you're going to have to take it off anyway...

Octavia 3 VRS TDI 184 4x4 with many extras
Ah yes, I forget that diesels do smell like they're running rich when they're a bit bunged up. I encounter this with some of the vehicles at work. If they don't get a long run every so often they start to smell rich and not quite run right. Takes a good few long runs to sort them out usually. Glad your car seems to be improving, hopefully this continues to be the case!

The most wonderful time of the year..........
Also check the condition of your heat exchanger (bit in front of the radiator) for damage. If a small stone can pop a radiator, imagine what it would do for a smaller, thinner one. If you see any damage then get the system checked.

Are you sure it wasn't just trying to do a regen?

It can be quite fiddly just because of access but it is basically just undoing the old one from the exhaust, unclipping the electrical connector and freeing the cable from some clips. If it's the sensor I'm thinking about, you should be able to access it by removing the airbox and reaching down from the top. Otherwise you would need to lift the car to access from below. Hope this helps.

1.6 cr reliability.
I honestly can't remember now @DieselMonte. I think it had 56k on it when I traded it in and it was eight years old. Given an average of 7000 miles a year, the EGR valve might have been at about 35k.

I had a Roomster with the 105hp and I had trouble with the EGR valve after five years which I had to replace and then after another three years the first injector went. After getting that replaced I traded the car in on a Karoq. The car did mainly short runs throughout its life but I was impressed withhow long it was able to do so before the problems started. And the performance was pretty decent along with the fuel economy. These will only be better in a Fabia.

Yeah if you can find one for a decent price. Just don't be surprised if it doesn't last very long. There's no way to tell if its just about to break too.

Fait beep from behind dash.
Ah yes, I've had to drive a car with one of those with the same thing happening too. I'd forgotten about that. Glad you found it!

Fait beep from behind dash.
Do you have an ISOFIX child seat fitted? Sounds like the beep from one of them not secured or with the belts undone. If it's from behind the dash though? Not sure. Possibly an aftermarket device of some kind.

Correct. Roomsters and Rapids should be the same too.

Most likely. You should be able to pop the little square bit out and see if you can get the end out. It might glue back together. If not, it's a new one.

@Faz02 Check that your Aux socket has a silver ring where you are putting the jack in. Sometimes the socket can get pushed in and break off and fall into the console.
