  1. Remove aux belt and see if the noise is still there would be my first move. Thanks. AG Falco
  2. This is the Fabia III section not the Fabia II section. Thanks. AG Falco
  3. The Alternator does NOT charge the battery all the time by design. If the electrical load is low it will get turned off. She has a Micro Hybrid car. For more details look here:- https://www.yuasa.co.uk/info/technical/micro-hybrid-hybrid-vehicles-explained/ Especially these sections. Micro Hybrid 2, Regenerative braking & Battery care and Charging. Thank, AG Falco
  4. Skoda Citigo 85 SE 2018 with 175 65 14 Vredestein Quatrac 4 on. Now on the car for the second winter season as I run Conti's in the summer. Car does 10K+ miles per year with the all season on for less than 5K miles PA. No problem with them. Would recommend them if you asked me. I also run a Fiat Panda JTD 2009 with them on since 2016. Also no problem. Ran Dunlop winters from 2010 until 2016. Car owned from new and now at 133K miles. If the Hankook's work for you then stick with them. I only fit Asymmetrical tyres to my cars for various reasons. I am further South than you. North Dorset, Rural area. Thanks. AG Falco
  5. Under the MENU button he needs to look for the SMARTLINK option. See here:- Thanks. AG Falco
  6. Look for the 'MENU' button. Not car 1 but car 2 & 3 should have it, Just push the 'MENU' button and look for it. Thanks, AG Falco
  7. It seems to need a set of circumstances for it to happen as it does not affect every Multijet Panda. The later ones have a drain hole in the bottom of the air filter box. 😲 Thanks. AG Falco
  8. Known problem on my Panda. https://www.fiatforum.com/threads/fiat-panda-1-3-multijet-water-in-air-box.341188/ Thanks. AG Falco
  9. I change the Air Filter when I change the spark plugs on my 1.2 TSI. The spark plugs are due at 40K miles and the air filter at 60K miles. ( Plugs due again this year ) If the air filter screws were in the top you could get moisture / condensation / water from above going in to the air filter box? 🙁 Thanks. AG Falco
  10. https://www.celtictuning.co.uk/services/performance-stats/skoda/octavia-5e-2013-2020/diesel/1-6-tdi-108-bhp-2013-ECU-remap-chiptuning/stage-1#t3-content But listed as a Bosch ECU ? Thanks. AG Falco
  11. Look here for the complete Skoda kit:- https://www.theskodashop.co.uk/collections/skoda-wheels/products/spare-wheel-kit-fabia-2015-2021 Thanks. AG Falco

  13. Renault is the biggest culprit with different wheel bolts for the spare. Alloy wheel bolts have washers, Steel wheel bolts don't. MB also had some where you need to use shorter wheel bolts with the spare steel wheel. Fit the longer wheel bolts on a steel wheel to the rear and you damage the internal handbrake mechanism inside the disk as soon as you drive. Thanks. AG Falco
  14. The higher power the charger the more they cost. If you have time on your hand then a lower powered one might be cheaper and better for the battery. If your battery is a 60AH then the suggested maximum charge is 10% of this. So the 6 Amp or even the 4 Amp would be good enough for you. I use a 3 Amp charger and just put on in the evening and leave it all night. Thanks. AG Falco
  15. Just connect the flat battery up to a good battery with jump leads to fool the battery charger in to starting the charge. Bought a smart AA/AAA battery charger in Dec 2012 along with some good Eneloop ( was Sanyo now Panasonic ) batteries. Yet to have any of these batteries degrade. Most still charge up to more than they're rating after 10 Years of use. Thanks. AG Falco
  16. Is the Android Auto / Apple Car Play any better on the display or is it the resolution of your display? Thanks. AG Falco
  17. Don't forget that you have two water pumps. 🙂 What is it about the GPS that is not great? Thanks. AG Falco
  18. In my experience the coolant level, if filled to max will drop to about half way between max and min and then stop. Are you planning to keep this car now? Thanks. AG Falco
  19. You have a Micro Hybrid car. For more details look here:- https://www.yuasa.co.uk/info/technical/micro-hybrid-hybrid-vehicles-explained/ Especially these sections. Micro Hybrid 2, Regenerative braking & Battery care and Charging. Thank, AG Falco
  20. Is it a smart charger suitable for a stop/start battery? Do you connect the charger to both battery terminals? This is low. The Alternator does NOT charge the battery all the time by design. If the electrical load is low it will get turned off. You might be able to notice this with your Temperature/Voltage unit. The Alternator does NOT charge the battery all the time by design. If the electrical load is low it will get turned off. This is when the alternator is most likely NOT to be charging your battery. Correct. I don't think you have this TPMS system. You have the indirect type that use the ABS/Speed sensors. How much do they go down by? What age, mileage & make tyres are they? Disconnect the bulb. Faulty switch? As in my manual page158-9 :- ■ If the vehicle is frequently used for making short trips, low mileage, the vehicle battery will not have time to charge up sufficiently and may discharge. Winter time The vehicle battery only has some of its starting power at low temperatures. A discharged vehicle battery may freeze at temperatures just below 0 °C. We therefore recommend that you have the battery checked and, if necessary, recharged by a specialist garage before the start of the winter. Good plan. No problem. 😁 My Skoda garage is only 80KM away. 😕 Thanks. AG Falco It has become too complicated. 😕
  21. I have processed many tyre complaints over the years. I have only had one where it actually looked like a faulty tyre. This was on a week old tyre and the claim was successful. The fault was only visible after fitting the tyre and driving it. Most you know are not faulty tyres from the start. Some people listen to my advise and don't try to claim. Thanks. AG Falco
  22. Green 30 amp. See below. Top row marked 30. 🙂 Thanks. AG Falco
  23. Blue is 15 amp. That is just the fuse makers using a different shade of blue. Thanks. AG Falco
  24. Definitely different to mine. Thanks. AG Falco
  25. My fuse 44 is a 15 amp blue fuse. Thanks. AG Falco
