Key fob sync Fabia 2019 1L/notch in door handle cover?
Have a look on the passenger door handle (n/s) , that's where it is on mine - in the plastic cap at the end of the handle

Problem with KESSY key after battery replacement
Does the little red light in the key light up when you press the buttons? If not, have a look at the battery you fitted in the key, some of them have a clear plastic sticker that needs to be removed.

Rear Internal Lights On Whilst Driving
Check the reading lamp push button switches on the rear light - you won't be the first and you won't be the last to miss them. If you get stuck I'm sure there's information in the handbook.

Locking wheel nut and bolt
You're still going to need to replace the original key so you can remove the original locking bolts before you can fit the new bolts from your new kit.

Repaying Skoda finance early/shortly after purchase.
I paid mine off a few days after getting the car. Spoke to a lovely woman at VWFS who advised it would work out cheaper if I "Withdraw from the finance" rather than go down the early settlement route - All paid off by bank transfer later that day I also asked her to check if the servicing, roadside assistance, warranty and MOT package would be affected by paying it off early and she said no, and confirmed that everything was in place. Give them a ring, I found them very helpful and they will keep you right - apparently it happens all the time.

VRS 2019 Sat Nav problem
You could try rebooting it by pressing the on/off button when the unit is switched on and keeping it held in until the screen goes off and then comes back on again, and then release the button. It shouldn't delete any settings off your system.

Clicking / knocking from steering
I bought a 66 plate Rapid Spaceback SE Tech last October with 6.5k miles and a full dealer service history. Everything was fine with it up until December last year when I started to get a feint click when turning the steering wheel side to side (at about 11 o'clock & 1 o'clock positions) which steadily got worse over the next couple of months. I got in touch with the garage I bought it from (who have been brilliant) and they tried a few things to solve it - greased the universal joints in the column, then replaced the lower column and universal joints and now they have replaced the complete column which seemed to sort it but having been out in the car yesterday & today ( it doesn't get a lot of use) i've noticed the feint clicking noise is back, albeit not all the time but definitely there every now and then but without any sort of pattern. If anyone has had the same issues or has any suggestions what it could be, I'm all ears

Rear passenger light.
Check the light switch hasn't been turned on - especially if you have "little" people in the back. The light will go out when you lock the car as it shuts down all sorts of things, but will come when you unlock and stay on with the ignition. There's a few posts about this across all models.

Alarm system battery
Try pressing the lock button on the remote twice (straight after each other). It works on our 2020 model and on my old 2014 Leon (gone but not forgotten) but my 2017 golf has the pushbutton on the pillar - strange

Clutch slipping? Skoda warranty…
I'd imagine that they would knock it back with the car being a taxi. My mate used to have his Octavia taxi serviced at the main deaer without issue but when it came to warranty repairs, he was told using it as a taxi voids the warranty.

Music on SD cards
My thinking was to upload your music to a USB and then use this to upload to "The Jukebox" which hopefully would help to rule out the file format your using, your SD card etc.

Music on SD cards
Did the early Columbus not have an internal HDD that you could upload to? I'm sure the manual described it a "Jukebox". I'm pretty sure my 16 plate did.

Error: leave vehicle only when selector in position p
Glad you've got it sorted at a "reasonable" price but it still leaves a bitter taste, still could have been a lot worse at £1200😉

Fuel Prices
Filled ours this afternoon at Morrison's and the pump shut down at £100. Started the car and the needle is below full. Definitely scary times ahead

Error: leave vehicle only when selector in position p
If I remember correctly the part was about £35 and I was told they fitted it in from the top by piggy backing the old switch. I was also told the same whilst chatting to one of the techies at our Skoda dealer when our Superb was in for service. I did manage to find a PDF of the procedure for a golf, just to get an idea what was involved but I had extended warranty so left it to VW but it doesn't look a difficult job. I've attached it for you to have a look RCRIT-19V615-0044.pdf

Error: leave vehicle only when selector in position p
I had the microswitch (5Q0713128A) replaced on my Golf at the local VW dealer for £120 - warranty company paid the bill. If your not happy using the main dealer, try Vasstech at Thornaby, I've used their Durham branch and they were spot on.

You need to leave the switch pointing to L - the mirror will return to its set position when you select a forward gear

Auto lock issue
Thanks for all your help guys, at least I can "suggest" to the dealer what it could be and hopefully save several visits while they try different things, especially considering it hasn't happened since I wrote this post. With the Superb having Kessy on all four doors I imagine I could have a bit of a fight

KESSY locking doors when you get out.
No, not yet, and typically it hasn't done it since I posted on here. On thing that has crossed my mind is that it's been cold and raining this last week whereas it was warm and sunny when the car was doing its "thing". I don't know if it's related but I'm trying to get photos or video of it happening to take to the dealer to show them exactly what happens - I'll update soon as I know anything
