  1. Yes. I still have one in the car. Think it’s an 80gb version, but has run out of space in the last year or so. I use it as I prefer listening to constant music while driving rather than someone talking nonsense if I use the radio.
  2. Just remove the screws and take the connection of the base. Any aftermarket audio store should be fit enough to source you something to fit back in again.
  3. You can have a leather wheel reupholstered in a finish of your choice. Alcantara or suede wears flat quite quickly and looks terrible. You can clean it and brush it, but its a PITA. Ive an Alcantara Rim on my sim rig as well as having had them in several cars. The Rim on the sim lasted a few weeks before starting to go flat and need brushed. Its coming off soon to be rebound in perforated sport leather with a contrasting red stitch to match the base.
  4. Not great with computers unless its connected to a car. Bought it off the bay of evil. Listed there as Dust brush cleaner, Universal vacuum attachment Dirt remover. Was £6.99, so not a fantastic top end quality product, but has been fine for vents and the side of the seat rail etc when used gently.
  5. It was taken from the top of black mountain. One of the panoramic shots shows roughly from Kilroot to about Lisburn.
  6. Funnily enough, I made the same comment to the kids yesterday.
  7. Today’s wee dander
  8. Went for a wee dander today.
  9. Have you tried a good quality coarse clay bar? if that doesn’t work normally a cutting pad with even a medium cut compound normally does the trick. I would generally only resort to ceri glass for scratches or the likes. none of these will damage the heated screen as mentioned above.
  10. Mine just turned 17k today and the rears are not in great shape. I suspect the use of poor quality pads and discs don’t help, as others have already said. The rears are possibly used more than you think as well, by stability control for cornering and anti dive when braking to stop the nose dipping and pushing. I’ve been meaning to get mine ordered for the last few weeks and keep forgetting when something else comes up. EBC BSD and yellow stuff pads were something like £215 less the 10% forum code, when I last checked. I’ve also a set of HEL hoses to fit at the same time just for overkill. I wouldn’t worry about the use of cruise control either, as the better discs and pads should off set the wear issue when in use.
  11. I find it hard these days to recommend anything that’s easier to use with great results other than the Rupes range of machines and pads/polishes. when you correct the paint, use a panel wipe to remove any other product used, and then apply the likes of can coat. Job done. All above work best avoided in this sort of heat we are seeing at the minute unless indoors and a lot cooler.
  12. Late on yesterday evening when it was cool enough for the dog to go for a walk.
  13. Bought from the bay of evil, and works a treat.
  14. Fan speed will increase when turning on the AC especially during warmer months of the year. If its just the noise from the extra fan rotation your hearing then that is normal. Just make sure its not rubbing on a cowling or shroud due to movement from the extra speed. The other thing to note is that, Yes!! You also need your AC serviced at that age if it has not been touched from new until now.
  15. As above, It looks like a wash product thats been hit by hot direct sunlight and dried/etched itself to the glass. I had some on the glass on mine when it arrived. I removed it with a foam cutting pad and DA polisher. A polish with a half decent cutting ability should shift it from the glass. You could also try a medium cut wool pad to shift it quicker.
  16. are you sure the water is not leaking through the tail light and running down the sealant to the boot floor?
  17. Looks really well. Hope it brings you many miles of happiness.
  18. The 800 vitesse was a very underrated car. They were a great driving good going thing. I’ve had an FDH coupe sitting in the garage for the last nearly 15 yrs. never take it out but still runs very well.
  19. Wee pic from tonight’s walk
  20. Posted on gumtree up here. Seems it has a few marks from use on the frame and dent on rear rim. still a decent carbon bike after some tlc though.
  21. don't know about 2015, but a mate told me not to hit mine (also silver), as he'd had to sort through 9 shades of the same colour on a 2018 superb.
  22. check and see if the system is holding vacuum pressure.
  23. Needs scanned to see where the communication error is. As suggested above, return it to the way you found it, and ring the dealer you’ve recently bought it from and tell them it just quit.
