  1. Have you removed spare wheel, tools and opened and emptied the side storage units? I had something similar on my Passat and turned out it was a wheel bolt in the storage unit wedged right down but not wedged enough for it not to rattle
  2. There’s a button on the b pillar?
  3. Do you need a superb for the space? If you’re concerned about MPG you’d be better with a smaller car especially if space isn’t required
  4. I’m sure mine has this but not as much or as visible. I think taking them out is the only way then you’ll be able to get to the back or be able to use a thin pipe cleaner
  5. When I first got my car I had the seat in the perfect position, a year later I took it for its service but I stupidly forgot to save my seat position. 4 years later I still can’t find the same position I had and get a numb bum after around 2 hours. From my experience the seat can be comfortable but I feel like the electric seat has too many variations. I think I may do baby steps with my seat adjustment and set it completely wrong then adjust 1 setting per day until I can find the sweet spot again, I know it’s there somewhere
  6. So much cheaper but unfortunately my insurance won’t have it that it’s bigger than original spec 😞
  7. Oh wise one what would you recommend then? You don’t have to be a tyre expert to recommend tyres, if you knew anything about tyres you’d know pros and cons and when tyres for our cars can be as much as £230 per tyre I’d rather not take a punt Regardless I’m waiting for the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 released in about 3 weeks
  8. If it’s on a 4 post lift then lifting on the sills is correct. That looks like a trolley jack has gone there with no protection 😞
  9. https://www.screwfix.com/p/varta-cr2032-coin-cell-battery-4-pack/894HK?tc=YB3&ds_kid=92700055281954487&ds_rl=1249401&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIqZnZl83D9gIVh-_tCh3MvAi0EAQYASABEgLSe_D_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Give them a go, been fine in mine but it’s not kessy
  10. Ouch, what year is your car?
  11. If all else fails give this a go https://youtu.be/iA9Sz8RndMo
  12. 2016 is the manufactured date. What I meant by annoying is if it didn’t have the cracks
  13. Good result, I said ages ago to get rid of it but you knew best and kept chugging along. Hopefully you can now just enjoy the car and get your evening and weekends back
  14. Just a thought, if you’re going to be buying this new, then go into your local dealer and ask for a long test drive in each for a couple of hours. You’ll then be able to get use to it, then after your first test either remember your thoughts or write them down. Most test drives is around a 10 minute loop which is ridiculous, but I can’t see them saying no especially if they know you’ll be getting a new car as that’ll be their bonus
  15. I have a fascination and desire for leather so that wipes out the Sportline for me, why they can’t have leather seats I’m not sure. If I had to make a choice it would be L&K though purely because it’s top of the line and don’t need to spend extras on the nice things. There’s a new superb out next year or year after if you can wait, adds another “what if I waited longer” though 😬
  16. Just buy a 64gb SD card if you don’t already, any generic class 10 will do
  17. The cracking from what I’ve read is completely normal, as long as it’s on the tread it’s okay but I’ll be changing for sure. I also had an inspection and tyres have around 3.5mm left, if they weren’t cracking I’d expect at least 50k miles on the P7’s set which is amazing tbh even though they’re not really a great all rounder
  18. There’s a few reasons why I’m going to wait but the main one is I only do around 10 miles per week if that, sometimes more but generally low use I think the Eagle F1 will be a good choice because when I do go for a longer drive I can either drive like an old man when the dogs onboard or go for a spirited drive when he’s not inside. The new F1 6 is cheaper than the F1 5 as well and no potential of being sat in a warehouse and be a few years old before I’ve even used them
  19. Car passed MOT, just an advisory on the tyres as expected. So can now wait until April for the Eagle F1 6’s
  20. It wouldn’t prevent, but if someone wanted to fix on the cheap filling the crack and wrapping it would be ideal
  21. Personally if it’s the first time it’s ever done this, then just replenish. Maybe it’s always been really low (but not enough to trigger sensor) and you’ve never noticed. If it does it again then you know for sure something is leaking or consuming
  22. Why would ever need close by remote? I’ve seen folk on here ask why but I can’t think of why, if you open it then you’re going to put something in or take out and as you’re there just press the button. I tried wording this differently so I don’t sound start but honestly I’m intrigued haha
  23. You don’t want both fog lights to work only one. It’s only on one side to differentiate between brake lights
  24. Annoying but it’s fine, even says in the manual that this will happen
  25. They’ll be an advisory for sure as they were last year too but reading tyre manufacturers as long as it’s on the tyre tread block it’s okay, but I’ll be swapping them way before the legal limit
