Cluster dashboard lights
As others have said battery first, looks like yours is 2017 and if it’s original it’s time/coming up for a new one. You’ll need to get it “coded” in with something like vcds I recently had all these errors pop up on my car but it did log a fault which was rear left ABS sensor, so the fact yours hasn’t logged a fault like that or anything else narrows it down to aging battery

Extended Warranty do I this year ?
Is that on your 2015 car? I didn’t think you could get it from Skoda after 6 years old or so

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Yeah I’ve always used Gliptone as I love the smell of leather 😂 The leather afterwards is a nice and matte, but can be a tiny bit sticky until it rubs off, but I think that’s more my fault but I don’t mind as my clothes smell of it too I think I last done mine earlier in the year and still smells great

If you want leather scent get these Gliptone EuropeLeather ConditionerLeather dries out with heat and sunlight and should be restored at least three times a year to re-establish the original nutrient content. GT11 LeatherGliptone EuropeIntensive CleanerGT12 Intensive Cleaner is a thick, concentrated, pH neutral leather cleaner ideal for preparing dirty leather prior to conditioning. Containing glycerine, When it comes to putting on the conditioner I do it with my bear hands rubbing it in, will literally make your car smell for ages

Christmas tree errors
When I cleaned the sensor yesterday I forgot to get the part number so whipped it off today and it’s WHT 003 864 A Ordered this from GSF https://www.gsfcarparts.com/products/wheel-speed-abs-sensor-75mm-rear-za051624?auto_apply_coupon=ROAD24&srsltid=AfmBOoqYllvwULKbcK-U8VCusIxo4k0OhNSVqU_V5hV-vSlKZYdLQEjqy1M Thought I’d go with Hella and the cross reference says it’s compatible with part number from mine, so fingers crossed it’s just that and coming here Tuesday Will report back

Christmas tree errors
I did reset the errors but they came back straight away pretty much I do need something better than bricks for sure! I went for a drive with all the errors and plugged in vcds, setup the measuring blocks and all reading values apart from rear left So hopefully it’s not something else and just a sensor replacement needed, seems fairly common and I guess smacking the brick out of the way has killed the sensor Lessons learned n all :(

Christmas tree errors
So long story short I changed my oil today, went everywhere with the wind Started my car and all good then all sorts of errors, tyre pressure, hill hold, afs, auto hold maybe some more I then thought hmm maybe it’s because I left the bonnet open for a while and battery somehow low but nope that’s all good. I then ran a vcds scan and loads of errors but one of them was “Rear Left speed sensor” (I assume that’s passenger side in UK)? I was thinking hmm that’s still odd but then I remembered when I lowered the back from the ramp I forgot to remove my bricks, I didn’t want to start the car yet so I smacked the bricks out from under the rear tyres with a hammer, took a little bit of hitting but nothing too drastic. I just took the rear passenger wheel sensor off, looked alright but gave it a clean anyway, put it back but same errors soon as I go round a corner So I guess I’ve buggered the sensor and need a new one? But not sure if rear left is as you look at the car (driver) or when your inside the car (passenger) Thanks

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Done my service apart from fuel filter, it suddenly became stupidly windy, when I was draining the oil massive gush of wind blew it well away from my oil bucket underneath great stuff Then I undone the little screw on the diesel filter, had it inside a bag then wind took that outta my hand then went everywhere too Wouldn’t mind if it’s old petrol oil as it’s not black but ho hum I’ll wait another day when it’s not windy to do my fuel filter

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Received my bits today for oil + filter, air filter, fuel filter and pollen filter change on Saturday proving the weathers good First time im doing oil change myself on this and looks like its going to be a messy job (diesel) as there’s a stupid cable right underneath filter

Hid to led headlights upgrade. what do people use in 2025?
If you want to remain legal then leds no go, I manually adjusted my headlights with the screw and much better, I’ve also got osram nbl laser, there’s a newer version now which is brighter yet Also make sure your headlights are super clean and inside windscreen

Replacement battery
Personally I’d go with Varta (and I did), well respected and OEM for VAG and many other German cars

Vibration when braking with new brakes.
They’re directional, did you fit them the correct way?

Dreaded hybrid A/C and battery coolant issue, meh.
Hmm I’d reject it or get them to fix, I believe the battery coolant should have a pin on it to stop owners from ever opening it, so if it didn’t have that then someone’s been there before trying to fix it, gave up then p/x’d it

Battery not charging
The battery will need replacing either way at 8 years old, get a varta replacement
-
oil and filter change
If I had the chance I’d get the oil sucker and do it that way be super easy then and no messing about down below, but mines a diesel so filter at the bottom boo

Engine stalls on first drive of the day
Sounds very much like a battery issue, if it’s still on original it’s time for a change for sure. I also had this now and again before changing my rear discs and pads, almost like the auto hold not disengaging quick enough but my battery was also old at the same time

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Exactly that and another point to make is with mit silikat the coolant was G13, which VAG no longer use which says enough The new stuff is g12evo, if you mix your g13 with g12evo expect some browning to occur but perfectly fine to mix As g12evo doesn’t have the extra silicone then technically the coolant needs flushing more often now but I’ve yet to see a schedule for this, like every 2 years 4? Not sure

No idea why or how people smoke in a car, bloody grim!

Superb keeps locking
You’ll need to get it scanned as it’s very likely to be one of the door locks will need replacing

Portable Bluetooth cd player.
Personally I’d get on with digitalising them to mp3, be much easier and you have a backup should the CD go funky

Back seat protection, anyone use one?
It looks like there is a zip half way, so could only put some side up then the rear passenger being in the way should stop your doggo moving about too much It’s a shame car designers don’t think of dogs, like with that cover why isn’t there a hole for the air vents to keep the dog cool grr I think a divider might be your best option though, my dog has the whole boot to roam then when we go on holiday our back seats rammed to death but wouldn’t work for you as you’ll have someone there
