Chain tensioner check.
I think you must be confused. Its a complete chain, (both), guides and tensioners, manifold off, gaskets replaced the lot. I'm a truck driver for a large car supermarket and the price quoted beat their price and the main agent by a few hundred pounds. Autodata quote 8hours labour.

New Diverter Valve
I'm fairly sure from memory it's the GFBT9351, mines the 2.0tsi CCZA block which I believe is found in some TT's and Tourags. Weirdly they don't list one for the Superb but I think they're the same for almost any 2.0 tsi. I'll check the exact part number when I get back home (sleeping in the lorry for a few days).

New Diverter Valve
Hi, standard DV, no noise from this one at all. You can read about them on the Go Faster Bits website. I think I had a slight leak before.

New Diverter Valve
I replaced mine with the GFB one with the stronger internals. No issues whatsoever, would definitely recommend.

Superb blower intermittent issues
Replace the blower motor, mine did the same thing. Ignore tall stories about cleaning and oiling, it doesn't last.

Chain tensioner check.
Replaced mine as a matter of course. £1400 to do all in but now has the later revised parts. Peace of mind.

Vibrations + buzzing noise
I had exactly this and was driving me absolutely crazy, I could not believe it when TQC in Stoke found out that the problem was the fuel lines underneath were vibrating against each other, as they initially thought it was coming from the front of the engine. once removed and wrapped in fabric or loom tape the problem was solved.

Fan blower not working.
Just replaced my blower motor, did exactly the same thing, worked intermittently for a few days, water gets into to the internal connections and corrodes them, for the price, it's just simply not worth trying to clean/oil/repair as the problem just returns and the parts are cheap enough. Even with a new part, it will happen again in a few years.

New wheels.
Yep, although I didn't do it, I bought one of these, there's a few colours left....http://www.kopacek.com/Skoda/SUPERB-II/Superb-II-front-upper-grille-lid-painted-in-original-Skoda-colour-ROSSO-BRUNELLO-F3X-Monte-Carlo

New wheels.
I've seen these in 18,19 and 20" now, I think the Audi Q5 had some version of them, I've put 235/35/19 tyres, speedo is pretty much the same as before.

New wheels.
Yes,I didn't realise you were so far North, or you could have borrowed my spare set of Thermistos. I've put RS6 alloys on mine as they are 19" so not too hard. Needed 10mm hub centric spacers all round though for clearance. They look like they were designed for the 3T as the width of each "spoke" is the same as the chrome door strip and lower tailgate strip and they line up almost perfectly too.

Superb reversing lights not good! UPGRADE??
Hi, I got these from eBay, but to be honest a few places sell them, just use Google and go to a seller that looks trustworthy.

Superb reversing lights not good! UPGRADE??
Personally, I've found the only really decent bulbs are the PIAA extreme white ones, not led so no error codes, but at £35 a pair they're expensive. Fitted them to my estate and they look like LEDs and give off a decent light.

A good refurb of the standard alloys or something from the VAG parts bin maybe 🤔.

Memory seats retrofit
Yes, I've found that, it's near impossible to find Audi seats that are fully electric and heated, even the memory ones usually have a manual adjuster for moving back and forwards. The Porsche Cayenne seats apparently drop straight in and actually were made in the same ivory leather, but unless they're from the GTS model they're pretty much identical anyway and impossible to source. I'm guessing the motors and plugs would still have to switched to trick the car into thinking nothing had changed, it's a much bigger job than I thought. 😯😂😂

Retrofitting Paddle shifters to Skoda Superb II
Thank you, that would be good, I'll try and track down the parts!

Tyres any recommendations
Can't fault the Uniroyal Rainsport 5's, had them in a variety of sizes on a variety of cars, good solid all round performance. My Flying Spur had Kumho tyres all round and I was tempted to swap them but they turned out to be excellent 👌. I have a Saab 9000 and a Honda Civic too, both running Michelin tyres, and both of them have had MOT advisories about sidewall cracking after just a couple of years, apparently many Michelin tyres are now made in China.

Retrofitting Paddle shifters to Skoda Superb II
Very interested in doing this, but I'm assuming your car is a facelift? I've heard it's impossible on a pre-facelift like mine?

Is black badge a step to far?
Gloss black with body colour background every time.

McGard locking wheel nuts
I'm on my third set of these, first set the key slipped off the nut and bent it and in fairness Euro car parts replaced the set, on the second set the key wasn't a perfect fit so I tried to order a replacement only to be told that a spare key had already been ordered, looks like I was given a set that had already been returned! The third set has seen the chrome part of the locking bolt separate from the bolt itself and now just spins independently. I can confirm these are total garbage. Sadly, there aren't slot of other options as I need longer bolts with having spacers fitted.

Memory seats retrofit
That's pretty cool, and makes perfect sense, it's good to see there are other people out there using common sense to upgrade their car using bits from the VAG parts bin. Would be interested in hearing how you got on.

Skoda superb 3T estate - alloy options
Mine are 235/35/19, no crashing or banging, the car is lowered using the Bilstein B14 kit too, rides amazingly and handles perfectly. I swapped a 2016 MK7 Golf GTi for the Skoda and got £11k cash back, I'd say both cars drive almost identically. It depends what you're after in a car, a lot of Superb drivers will be older guys concerned about ride comfort, but I'm not there yet. Personally this rides and handles like the Golf did and now it's APR stage 3 tuned too the power is pretty much the same too. The Bilstein kit actually came with VAG genuine parts logos all over the box so it's obviously standard spec on some PQB chassis vehicles and I'm confident Audi don't fit weak wheels to the A5. Couldn't be happier, although maybe a set of Bentley 20's next would look good 👍

Philips LED High beam
Mine work fine, the beam pattern is set by the headlight unit not the bulb as both halogen and most led bulbs are omnidirectional. When tested, properly at the IMI test facility, the beam pattern remained identical. The headlamp unit directs the light it is provided with. In the main beam, it would of course be irresponsible to keep them illuminated when approaching oncoming traffic, but I would have thought that didn't need pointing out. Technology moves on and whilst it's important to keep many things standard, some things can and in my case have been improved by upgrading. The Superb is a great base car, but it's still built down to a price rather than up to a quality. There's a lot of really useful helpful information on here, but if I'd paid attention to the naysayers I'd have sold my boring taxi months ago. 😉
