GPS antenna on roof
The actual antenna is prone to corrosion and loosing signal over time. Mine was changed under warranty.

Octavia combi mk4 1.5tsi e-tec ride quality - harsh suspension over sharp edges
Have this impression of Enyaq after a few test drives. Everyone seems to praise the car for its quietness, but in my impression, this is fairly noisy car, way more so than Octavia. So go figure what people compare it to, or indeed just repeating PR crap.

Latest OCU Software Version for MK4 Octavia Estate 1.5 SEL First Edition
If I remember correctly, 0311 is the current version. Dealers say there are no updates because they only apply updates as part of solution to a specific problem described in TPI, otherwise they bear responsibility if anything goes wrong during the update. And they are just lazy, because myself sometimes I had to come with printed TPI to make them do the work... It may also be that you have some specific HW version which was not supported with updates later and to solve issues you would need to swap it entirely. Not uncommon with these corona cars when supply chains were disrupted as far as my workshop told me.

Octavia combi mk4 1.5tsi e-tec ride quality - harsh suspension over sharp edges
My PHEV has the same behavior on 18 wheels. Very floaty despite having more weight and less rubber on the rims, yet small curbs or potholes hit hard. Got used to it.

Skoda’s Octavia Gets A Second Facelift
At least they are bringing PHEV back.

Rear suspension knocking
@DJD66 did you figure it out in the end? I just found out that a few fixing points of plastic panels covering underneath of the car were broken or detached, and that appeared to be the source of most of the noises I thought are coming from suspension. To test the idea I stuffed the panels with some foam rubber and since then car was driving like new. Car is in the workshop now and I asked them (besides why the heck they couldn't figure this out in more than 2 years of me complaining about noises from underneath) to investigate why it was detached and banging, since as far as I know no works were done on my car which would require it to be removed.
- Bottom of rear bumper popped out (fixed)

Octavia MK4 MY2023 OTA update went wrong (03A8)
Screen is about the same, 1300 plus tax.

Octavia MK4 MY2023 OTA update went wrong (03A8)
I do not chase the most recent software and stay on 1941 still. So far did not regret once, reading this forum I see people have many issues on newer versions which I don't. So if everything works, I'd say stay on 1969.

Regenerative braking on eTSI (MHEV)
Sorry, I've never driven MHEV so can't comment. I only say that what you quoted from Skoda site is not applicable to hybrids. I would expect MHEV to engage regen every time brakes are pressed, along the mechanical brakes. I think that is the general logic behind hybrids, no matter the make. Maybe you have a way to see how hybrid system works in infotainment somewhere? We have it on PHEVs and it shows at which moment regen activates. Something like this:

Regenerative braking on eTSI (MHEV)
That only applies to EVs. Not even PHEV has this feature, the brakes apply as soon as the pedal is pressed.

Dashcam fitting
Viofo works just fine with any usb-c to usb-c cable there, I took the cheapest from aliexpress. You only need to wire it for parking mode, since power on rear mirror usb port is only available when ignition is on.

4 Year Old PHEV with Only 2 Services - What Should I Look For?
It is even more important in PHEV because engine is often running on sub-optimal temperatures. Does seller explain somehow why they skipped servicing?

Your vehicle has been removed from your account
Might help to factory reset infotainment and make a new user profile. I had this issue when car tried to sync to online profile and couldn't load settings, defaulting everything in the beginning of every trip.

Front suspension rebound
I would definitely change shocks.

You need to run the engine for longer
Hard to say without seeing. That engine will run till it is hot is absolutely normal. But during normal operation there shouldn't be any messages on the left. It only is supposed to show message on infotainment if you attempt manually to bring it back to E-mode before the engine is warm. All I can say is I had an issue with engine starting for no reason and message on the left saying it needs to run longer, but that was some 12V system gremlin after my 12V battery was replaced. Hardly related to what you have.
- Dealer says Screen Replacement + Update (1803 -> 1989) might brick Engine/Steering ECUs. Real risk?
-
Infotainment system screen removal?
There are topics about removing screen. However, there are also topics which may suggest that your issue is software related. Did you have OTA update recently after which it stopped working?

Roadside recognition
It is supposed to read signs. However mine, if there is no map coverage for the area, like if it is a newly built road, just pops error every few minutes that sign recognition does not work. So without GPS it won't read anything.

Octavia MK4 MY2023 OTA update went wrong (03A8)
What @Giannis20 is describing is what many people had after OTA update to 1989. Looks like it is not about O3A8 at all, or a combination of these two softwares creates the problem. I would bring it to Skoda and blame O3A8 anyway.
