  1. @J.R. GOAT? Vale46? Is that really you ??
  2. I put about a litre of DPF cleaner down the o2 sensor hole, it sits for 15 minutes before the engine needs to idle for another 15 mins. Smoke is a big grotty and smelly, but differential pressure was down afterwards so it did something.
  3. I had the OEM ECU software re-flashed as it had been previously bodged to keep the EGR closed, and remove limp mode error messages. The idea is to get the car to OEM and then judge whether an injector is required or not. So far, driving around town as usual the car is MUCH quieter, smoother, nicer to drive as I think the throttle response had been messed with, and average MPG readout has gone up a fair bit. VCDS injector logs next ...
  4. If you don't wrap across the whole roof effectively sealing the sunroof and its joints how will it help with the leaks?
  5. Petrol DSG's have a reputation for being fragile.
  6. Why not get the car, and have the roof wrapped in clear vinyl so you don't lose the pano roof effect?

Did you clear the error code after fitting the new sensor? A 2010 tdi is probably suffering with the usual problems of EGR, blocked DPF, blocked ASV that affects these cars. The glow plug light is the signal for many a wondrous and expensive problem !
  8. Probably not 100kg/s ... pesky autocorrect !
  9. My 1.6tdi Greenline is running really rough, and using a great deal of fuel, the diesel knock on acceleration is quite loud, and on a very light throttle load holding the car momentarily on the clutch the revs bounce from 500-1000rpm. I tried injection deviation quantity today on VCDS which didn't run properly, so I took the car for a short run and logged the inj deviation but the figures are confusing to me. Can anyone interpret please? If it helps, mass air figures showed the ECU was expecting a given figure, but in reality was receiving 100kg/s more. Injdeviationquantity.xlsx

To paraphrase the old Meibion Glyndwr joke ... Come home to a real fire, get an Enyaq
  13. @ashabristol In my opinion yes, because the longer you drive the wider the type of driving, so the average will be more representative of your driving. If you're anything like me I'd be loving the better traction from a new clutch and driving like I'm 17 for a few weeks
  14. The battery would probably have been disconnected, thats simply the average of the mileage you've done since the clutch, whereas the previous figure would have been an average taken since it was last reset?
  15. Paid under £3k for both my Yetis
  16. And don't spend £12k on it 😳
  17. I have a screen mounted DAB aeerial in my 2010 Yeti with an RNS315DAB Amundsen? unit which works well where there is a signal.
  18. Are you sure it's not going into limp mode when it suddenly stops? When I first had my 1.6tdi it wouldn't rev over 2k without going into limp mode, it's taken a while and a lot of fuel additives, DPF cleaner and a remap to get it to run properly.
  19. You need to buy a higher spec speedo cluster, and pay to have it coded to your car - not a cheap exercise
  20. You need to know what version of the instrument cluster you have, if yours is E or S spec you won't have MFD with the car outline. Some research will tell you which cluster you have, and which version you need - and you'll need to get these coded before they'll work.
  21. You need to do some coding to tell the car about the change of buttons - VCDS will do it.
  22. Depends on what year/model Yeti you own, and what satnav unit you have in mind. For example - I have a 2010 Yeti S, I fitted an RNS315DAB unit with only the addition of a GPS puck on the dashboard with no other mods required.

@Flokis If you have an official VCDS cable you will be able to update to the latest software as mentioned by J.R however if you're using a knock-off cheap version you'll get no help on these pages.
  24. I had these for a while and absolutely hated them; the dog killed them in a week, and looking thru the rear door glass at a staggered junction was downright dangerous in my opinion. As a compromise I had the windows tinted from the B post backwards, but left the rear window clear - the car remains quite dark, and the criminally curious struggle to see what's in the car. The main difference is that although tinted the windows remain clear, there's no material affecting your view ... or for the dog to eat.
  25. ^^ good news, a 1.2 petrol DSG may have caused you more grief.
