It maybe nothing to do with the radio, it's very weird to have fault shown and no fault codes stored in the car.

The plot thickens then. Under body diagram as you mention, they specify removal of the pipe for glovebox removals. Under Heating & AC documents, zero mention. Under online handbook, zero mention of the usual knob to adjust flow. Fingers crossed someone with 2022 model will read/answer. I will also check ETKA parts to see if this pipe is there (7zap if you like also)

Probably best to report back once you have had a ride in empty car park whilst sat in rear. Sit on all 3 rear seats to try and get a "fix" on a rough location, then I'd be getting down in there close proximity once you have a rough idea. Then try to feel or listen for a better location. Worry about trim removal once you think you have it sussed out as to where it could be. Popcorn to the ready.

Fact, sounds often appear to be from a certain location, but often a totally different area. It could have gone down the seatbelt plug area in back seat for example. Me being me, I'd start bashing with my hand on various trims/carpets with hopes of hearing a little tinkle and then try an pinpoint it bit by bit. If you still have it, might be idea to post your diagnostic log. My understanding of this circuit is that it feeds 5V into the sensor, and it should return a variable value back to the ECU. 0.5V gradually increasing, and I think at 4 or 4.5V it will put car into limp mode for protection. As mentioned, you might be worth trying to get plug off if possible to see if car is feeding correct Voltages, no shorts etc. Then try to give the loom a wiggle test.

Looking in the workshop repair manuals for heating and air conditioning, I can see no reference to removal of the pipe for the glovebox cooling. The hole in the top of the glovebox, might just be from the fact the glovebox fits a few model's. Regards the chip shortage, that has nothing to do with that, doesn't make one iota of sense. Image for Octavia III that I know has glovebox cooling, the search also comes up in document with 1 hit.

Only thing I would check, is the book is 225/50 You have 225/55 fitted? If so, at least the car goes faster. Jokes aside, best verify what should be fitted with dealer and try to stick with correct profile if possible.

If the book says W speed rating, then this is the standard, you can fit higher rated, but I wouldn't go as far as to pay extra for the higher speed rating. Regularly running on a German Autobahn, then maybe.

I still cannot believe you supplied VIN, and they still managed to give you the wrong part. It literally shows up in bold, for the parts that fit, and when they go to order and see price, it shows superceded. The only time it should fail is when someone has retrofits done, as the server's are unaware of the change's.

I would assume he is meaning to monitor specific MVB's in airbag module in VCDS whilst you prod/move cables about to see if measured values fluctuate. Could be wrong, but that's how I read that.

@micloi AmanT is asking for help with VCDS. You may wish to edit your car to add a year it was made to assist, as some new cars need a more modern cable to talk to the car. Best of luck.

2 Things, hold down your Menu button for a few seconds to enter the hidden menu, you are looking for Software Train this tells you exactly the correct firmware for it. Next major thing to add, is the firmware updates rarely add features if at all.

That's only clipped in, however you might find it safer to remove the front bumper as clips will be more visible around the back, and risk of attacking from the front would be to snap clips off.

I think Continental wanted to set 4mm as legal minimum tread, and yes Michelin said 1.6mm is good. But Joe public wouldn't really want to fork out so often. I changed mine between 2-3mm, but was definitely more in tune with the car and anything off I noticed.

I think 0480 is available, but you will need to really verify your software train, and also you need to be able to enter that menu to update system. Please go to car and hold Menu button in for a few seconds, and find Software Train information.
