VCDS options on Superb III
@MarkyG82 - I've scoured through countless OBDEleven, Rosstech and VW forums - seen no luck of anyone doing it successfully. At least that I could find. I even checked the Russian forums.....no deal. If u do find - that will b gold.

VCDS options on Superb III
I'm not aware of anyone who has been able to successfully change the 3-sec ACC wait time to b a longer interval. Would certainly b nice to have. It is however possible to change the 12-sec hands on lane keeping assist to b 60-secs, via an updated parameter file for the Gateway module.

Battery Change Superb mk3
when i had to remove my battery, i didn't connect any "memory saver" device to my car. the battery was disconnected for a couple of hours whilst i did some work on the car. the result was that my Trip computer mileage readings reset - but that's no biggie. i also needed to re-learn the power windows one touch auto up/down - it is however a simple process. plenty of youtube vids showing how to do it. apart from that - everything else was fine.

New steering wheel option
That should fit.....provided neither have heating, or both have heating. If there is a difference, then u'll need to change the clockspring as well, which is an additional cost. I transferred the airbag over from the old wheel. I've retrofitted a flat-bottomed steering wheel from mk3 Octavia RS to my Superb MY17 220. No issues. Left = original Right = secondhand flat-bottomed wheel.

SKODA SUPERB 2016 TPMS FAULT
@Nab93 - it's not a simple process to disable the TPMS. There r a number of different modules u need to make code changes via VCDS or OBDEleven. If I were u, I would b getting to my the root of ur problems. Something is causing ur TPMS to trigger. Have u scanned ur car for errors? R ur ABS sensors good. Which tyre is the TPMS sensor complaining about? Usually it tells u which corner, like this....

Vcds language
@Frizz - use Google Translate!! It's wat many people do. Rosstech forum. OBDEleven forum.

Glacier White or Moon White?
@Danoid - The Build Plate on the door pillar won't have the paint code. This is the Build Plate on the door pillar. @Dooge - The build sticker in the boot with the PR Codes will have the paint code. Or u jump on Skoda erWin, enter ur VIN number to find out. This is the build sticker in the boot, showing the paint code.

SKODA SUPERB 2016 TPMS FAULT
As above, the Superb has Indirect TPMS, using the ABS sensors to detect each wheel's rotational speed, and hence if a tire pressure is off. Did u fix the puncture or change the tyre or put a spare wheel on? When u reset the TPMS, did u hear a boing sound? If ur still getting TPMS warnings then something might b wrong with ur ABS sensor!

Bilstein b12 pro kit
Yes, ur on the right track with that part number for the Eibach springs. That pic was on factory 19x8 ET44 rims with 12mm spacers up front and 10mm at the rear. Now I'm running aftermarket 19x8.5 ET35 rims and no spacers.

What size wheels/tyres will fit to Superb III
those rims look nice 😍 i'm also running 245/40R19 tyres, on Rotiform 19x8.5 ET35. sits nicely with the body too 🙂

Bilstein b12 pro kit
Eibach Part Numbers in table below. Given urs is a FWD 220 wagon/estate, it should be - E10-79-012-03-22 i've got a FWD 220 liftback/sedan, hence i'm running E10-85-042-02-22 in mine.

What size wheels/tyres will fit to Superb III
well a 245 tyre is 10mm wider than a 235 tyre.......so u would b looking at extra 40mm (4 cm) in total. as for the height clearance, that would depend on the tyre profile, i.e 35, 40, 45 etc etc., in combination with rim size, i.e. R18 or R19. without looking at the exact specs, the 245 tyres, R18 or R19, will definitely require more space than ur 235 R18 tyres.

Newbie - 16 Plate Mk 3 Boot Question
@Danoid - provided u have KESSY and u have the Easy Open option in ur infotainment setup correctly - u should b able open/close with the key fob. I can open with key fob up to 50m away from the car. I can't open with key fob when inside the car. I can close with key fob provided I'm within 3m in the area behind the car. I can't close with key fob when inside the car.

Newbie - 16 Plate Mk 3 Boot Question

What have you done to your Superb III today?
I didn't replace the whole thing - just the sides bits, as shown in my pic. Removing the whole thing is a different story, and definitely not a 5 min job. My factory shifter is still in good condition. I only changed it cause I fancied a change, but OEM+ To remove, using trim removal tools - pop off the top DSG plate, then pop the sides off, one by one. Once off, the new sides simply click into place.

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Did a bit of a "Shifty" business today on Gandalf 😁 It now matches the look n feel of the steering wheel and seats. Less than 5 mins to swap it over. Sourced from AliExpress. Nothing wrong with old, nor was it worn out. Was just time for a change. Left pair = new perforated ones Right pair = factory original ones Fitted...

Doug's 2018 Sportline 272 hatch
The throttle controller doesn't change the idle rpm. As for the TCU tune - I have the APR DQ250 tune. Details here. I have the version that is targeted for the FWD (in my case 220 Superb), allowing "better" power delivery. It pairs nicely with my APR Stage 1 Hi-torque ECU tune. On the dyno it cranked out 223kw 530Nm, at the wheels, before I had the IE FDS v2 Intercooler installed.

Doug's 2018 Sportline 272 hatch
i did the "Audi Throttle response" coding via VCDS, many many years ago - it made a slight improvement. last year i got an EVC Throttle Controller - olly molly was that a huge difference and improvement!! compliments the Stage 1 ECU and TCU tunes very nicely. many have tried it and love it too. i would highly recommend it.

Removal of buttons from infotainment system
With the Columbus units in the Superb, MY15 to MY17 had the MIB2 units paired with the 8" screen with buttons. MY18 to MY19 has the MIB2.5 units paired with the 9.2" screens with no buttons. Sadly u can't run the MIB2.5 units with the 8" screens. Unless u downgrade the glovebox unit to a MIB2. I'm not sure if this possible.

Superb Mirror Dip Fault
@Trinity99 - u could try running through the reverse mirror dip learning process again, as per the user manual, to see if that fixes the issue. other things that come to mind is potentially a faulty seat controller module (#36). there has been a TPI issued for it, that updates the software/firmware from version B H08 0021 to version C H09 0024.

Columbus Infotainment documentation PDF
@KenM - here u go. This is for the Columbus MIB2 unit with the 8" screen. B8_Superb_Columbus_InfotainmentSystem_Navigation.pdf

DRL eyelash activation/boot close with remote
@Frizz - U definitely do not have a pre-facelift Superb. Based on the 1st image, u have a Facelift Superb. The 2nd image is the headlight ballast - no point sharing that. No point following the coding @MartiniB shares, or shared as that applies to the pre-facelift Superb. This is the facelift Superb headlight.
-
DRL eyelash activation/boot close with remote
@Frizz - It's on the headlight itself, on top. Under the black bracket. FL - means Facelift Superb. 2020 onwards. Pre-FL - means pre Facelift. 2015 to 2019. U say that it lights up with the low beams. That sounds like u have the SLA headlights - that's good. 👍 U should b able to activate the eyelashes as DRLs. This is the coding I used to activate it.
