  1. have u tried running a aircon reset & calibration? it might help. how to video here:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WqX5r28AGI
  2. Ur assumption is correct with regards to how it works. The factory TPMS in the various Skoda models is Indirect TPMS (Tyre Pressure Loss Indicator) - it uses the ABS wheel sensors to compare the rotational speed of the 4 wheels. If one of the them is loosing air, it will spin at a different rotational speed and trigger the indirect TPMS. Difference must b 4 psi or more. If u fit a different sized rim/tyre, like a spare, it will have a different rotational speed and also trigger the indirect TPMS. The second version is the Direct TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System). There r 4 sensors, one inside each wheel, and a control module. The 4 sensors detect the pressure in each tyre and sends it to the control module. This shows individual tyre pressure readings on the infotainment screen. If it detects a 4 psi or more drop, it will trigger the TPMS. I retrofitted direct TPMS in mine - it's much better and I can see real time tyre pressures any time. Easy to monitor, rather than waiting for it to trigger.
  3. The front wheels r both driving and steering wheels - don't put the spare on the front, AWD or FWD, unless u really have to. As to why ur car is misbehaving - makes no sense. Should b no reason for it to affect the way ur experiencing it. When I put my 16" spare on my, only the ACC was disabled, as it knew there was a spare tyre on. The TPMS will b unhappy because the spare is spinning at a different speed to the other 3 wheels.
  4. I'm far far far away from the EU - I live in Australia. Here, we pay taxes if the imported items total cost exceeds a certain amount. I don't know wat the customs/import/duties apply in ur country. Ur going to have to find that out urself.
  5. 3rd row in the pic below is for the 235/45 R18 tyres.
  6. That's it then - hatch vs. wagon difference. The hatch has a felt/carpet like surface on the boot lid trim.
  7. No no, ur English is good and understandable. We r talking the same thing. It's more likely I've misunderstood wats fitted from factory on the L&K models in ur market. It's great u guys have that done already. Meanwhile, the rest of us have to do it the hard way. This a link to a discussion we had here many years ago....
  8. Lucky guy. U must have a unicorn in ur hands. As far as I know, the L&K models have the rear door controllers and pins for the door warning lights, but didn't have the actual door lights. Non-L&K models require the retrofit to tap into the power windows motor and a particular pin for the CANBUS signal to indicate the door is open.
  9. we all get the same Superb models that rollout of the Czech factory.....unless ur in Chinese/Indian/Russian market. most likely to do with Model Years. maybe only certain MY models have those holes provisioned? maybe its only on the hatch/sedan and not on the wagon/estate?
  10. Did u retrofit rear door warning lights on urs? None of the Superbs come with rear door warning lights - they just have dummy reflectors. I had to retrofit the rear door lights in mine.
  11. I just noticed today that the inside boot lid trim has access holes already to access the screws to remove the inner tailights!! Hence no need to remove the entire boot lid trim!! Skoda....simply clever
  12. Sadly no, it can't b done as the cluster unit is different on MY15/16/17. These r not color versions. From MY18 on, the cluster is different and in colour.
  13. I don't believe MY15 to MY17 have the "Journey Info" screen. MY18 onwards do have this. I don't know if this can b enabled manually.
  14. Removing the window switch trim is actually the easiest bit out of the whole thing. Lol....the reason he's "hitting" it is because he put sound insulation in the door. Hence it was a test to hear the dampening effect.
  15. Yes it will fit ur 2018 model. There is no "Sportline bumper". The bumper is the same across all models. Only difference with bumpers is sedan vs wagon versions. There 3 sets of diffuser types, that will fit to any bumper:- - non-Sportline diffuser (with or without tow hook hole) - Sportline diffuser (with or without tow hook hole) - AWD diffuser (with or without tow hook hole) As for the front grille - again, have a look urself in the Kopacek website. They have options there.
  16. i don't understand wat ur saying here. the item i linked (from kopacek) comes with the chrome already, exactly as per the pics - out of the box. u simply have to install the diffuser to the bumper itself. i bought this exact item many years ago n installed it myself. other places do sell the chrome bits alone, if u want. kopacek doesn't.
  17. Removing the door armrest requires the door car trim to b removed first.
  18. The Sportline Rear diffuser comes with the chrome. This is the one I got... http://www.kopacek.com/Skoda/SUPERB-III/Superb-III-original-Skoda-rear-bumper-diffusor-SPORT-LINE-full-set-assambled
  19. I'm so grateful my double garage was built extra large by the previous owners. It's area size is 56m2 (8.7m x 6.5m)
  20. Oh no......that is heartbreaking!!!! Out of all places, it had to dent on the fold/crease line!!! There is no easy fix in this situation. Won't ur insurance cover it?
  21. I bought LED boot lights from Kopacek many many years ago - they're super bright and faultless.
  22. my understand from wat i've read in the past is that most people were not able to get the on/off animation coded successfully. the dynamic indicator does not seem to b an issue. it just happens. however the fading in/out animation when the car is turned on/off is was stumps most people who've done the retrofit. as show here.....
  23. The Superb uses D3S Xenon bulbs. .....and they're a royal pain in the behind to remove/replace!!
  24. That's the Canton amplifier unit by the way. Glad u persisted with finding the culprit and got to the bottom of it....literally!! Time to enjoy peace n quiet now while driving.
  25. build of MY18 would've commenced from July 2017. likewise MY19 would've commenced from July 2018. and the the pattern continues. urs being Oct 2017 build, it would mean u have an MY18 then. mine was built Mar 2017, hence i have an MY17.
