  1. This has been said, but AEB issues are far from VAG unique. My work issued 2024 Courier has deployed anchors for no reason many times, and has fought with self between the anti collision steering and the lane departure assist.. which is why I take the 90seconds at the start of every (yup.. every… god.. damn… time...) journey to turn everything off except the blind spot indicators, they are handy..
  2. Morning, Hope you find any answers you need, And check out the social areas too!
  3. Welcome back! Same username, or is this a new account?
  4. Morning Lukas, from Ireland. Hopefully you do find out the answers you need. And I’m sure you’ve learned a few things that will help others out too! Once you get settled on the forum and your post count is up a bit more, for sharing photos etc, you’ll have to make a project thread and share the progress you made through the rebuild.
  5. Morning! Welcome along to the forum. There’s an entire section dedicated to wheels and tyres, plus all the project threads so you should be able to find plenty inspiration 👍🏻
  6. That’s funny, I wouldn’t consider an hour very far away at all!
  7. The site search isn’t great, better to use a Google search, specifying site: briskoda.net As for the cooler, well it’s a much less painful point of failure than the head gasket being gone… so worth the hope. I do vaguely remember (when the mk1 section was busier) there having been a number of cooler leaks. So not uncommon, esp bearing these cars’ ages now…
  8. Boa Tarde! I was only in Portugal (Póvoa de Varzim) last week, trying to not be an annoying tourist 🤣 Lovely place, great food.. people were friendly. So… Bem vindo!
  9. Hi, Sorry to see anybody leaving, there is a sub forum in the site support to request account closing and deletion if you want that done. But if you think you may be back, just leave the account sit dormant… you’ll be back… they always come back…. 🤣
  10. Random thread to drop that in Occy 😝
  11. Howdy stranger 👋
  12. Be worth asking them that question before shelling out for an exit it might not need…
  13. Ah fair enough, I missed the intermittent ecu fault. That could cause any mapping to get corrupted during the updates. But that could also be corrosion in the pins or a wire break in the loom to it. I assume they have pulled the ecu and tested it on a known good loom?
  14. Morning ! Welcome along
  15. My money is on the EGR delete not being coded properly by the mobile tuner, esp if he was quick to blame the injectors without saying why, and dodging you trying to make more contact. Putting the map back to standard with the egr and dpf deleted the eco is going to be having a fit trying to figure out why it’s running weird and the sensor information isn’t as it should be so will be doing all kinds of weird fuel/air adjustment trying to make the flow values make sense to itself. Needs to be coded out properly and tested, by someone who knows what they are doing. I had an egr delete (dpf still there) done in Jan on the same cayc 105 engine in my octy and I have had no problems with it since it was done 🤷🏻‍♂️
  16. Good morning @KMeziani While this forum is open to the world, the vast vast majority of members are from the UK and Ireland. As such, it is in the forum rules that English should be used as the default language for posting. Any online translation tool will do a decent job to help you and people wanting to help with your issue 👍🏻
  17. Evening, and welcome along! Always a good thing when a long lurker makes the leap to signing up, says the membership here must be doing something good 🤣 You’ll also notice now you’re a member there’s a couple of extra areas available to you that are members only viewing, with extra help and just general life chats to jump in on 😊
  18. New members are limited on access as part of the automatic counter spam measures. One measure in place is a min post count before you get “image rights”. It’s not a big number of posts you have to get to though.
  19. Hi Des, welcome along! Have a look in the roomster section, I’m sure it’s been asked before. If you can’t see it - Google site search Briskoda roomster fuel relay. It will work better than the forum software’s search which isn’t great.
  20. welcome… back? 🤣 Enjoy the new car… even if the service side of life hasn’t been great!
  21. Hi David, FYI, the site admins don’t like it when people try to hide links to external, unvetted non sponsoring businesses, unless it’s a legitimate business relating to to help solve a members problem. Property management doesn’t count as tha Edit… I see someone has already removed you hyperlinks.
  22. Hi, Welcome to briskoda! Hope you get on well with your car!
  23. Morning! Hope all is good with the new bus!
