Low profile tyres
These are low profile. 215/40 R 17 Goodride & 205/40 R 17 TIGAR's that i ran. Budget price but not budget performance and not noisy. No harsher than any other tyres in that sizes.

Low profile tyres
Rocking about in the South of England with Geolanders on 15" wheels fitted to a Kamiq is a bit of overkill. Then you have to remember as winter tyres they are pretty crap. But then until you use tyres you do not know these things. They will smooth out the ride but not reduce the noise.

Delivery times?
Obviously they still deliver TDI,s. But not so many that the average CO2 will get them fined on every car sold / first registered. If they could punt out loads of Enyaq, kokiaq vRS,. Superb and Octavia iV,s I am sure they would. They can not, and they need to keep the Dealerships ticking over. Ps. I read what a Skoda or VW CEO says, or some media, designer / engineer says in press releases or Skoda Story lines. All needs taken with a pinch of salt.

Low profile tyres
215/45R18 low profile as in 45% of 215 mm. But not really rubber band low. Your car will be normal, instead of them driving yours, you drive another. Pressures might be correct but is that lower than the ECO / high pressure. Bigger wheels lower profile tyres can be crashy but a 17" wheel with a 215 tyre and more profile can be as noisy. Same rubber on the road. Ps. Whoever from the dealership drove your car will have a top of range model and not be driving on 195/ 65r 16 tyres.

Delivery times?
^^^ Nonsense. They were turning out Scala & Kamiq because low emission versions and if they can electrified models but not really making any effort to build and have delivered TDIs' in various models.

Interior bike carrier?
My bikes have sealed bearings and are used for cycling in all weathers all year around. Thankfully not made of chocolate and neither are the bearings. I do not put bikes on the roof as i could not get in or out places with barriers which are common at forest car parks or getting under railway bridges /tunnels near beaches. The bikes are out back on a rack if not inside.

Water Pump on 1.0 litre engine
The Water Pump does not need replacing. I would not be replacing the Timing belt either if i had driven the car with care since owning from new and knowing how used. (Saying that if it was mine i would because the car would be thrashed on a regular basis. ) Check just how much they are charging to change that belt & tensioner and are they doing it for £500 including VAT or some price picked out the air.

Tyre Pressures for Towing
Do not increase more than the recommended pressures for the fully loaded car, or to the point the car / trailer does not feel safe / stable. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/505842-tyre-pressure-when-towing

Water Pump on 1.0 litre engine
You only get to hear of failures after 5 years on engines that have been on the go for 5 years, so with Euro 6 1.0 TSI 3 cylinders we are there or there abouts. Maybe someone actually knows what VW / Skoda are giving as the Recommendation / Guideline on 1.0 TSI's pre and post GPF's in the UK by age or miles for cam belt changes. Not other World Regions advice. ? Have they given longer than 5 years with these, or is that the advice for when 'an inspection' should be done. Maybe @varooomor @ApertureSknow or someone will check on 'erWin'. *Whoever does it will not only need all the gear, but more than just ideas.* http://www.mechanexpert.com/timing-belt-replacement-on-mk7-golf-1-0-tsi

DQ381 service intervals
@ffvrsDid you have the DSG oil change / service done or are you leaving it to 80,000 miles?

Skoda Yeti 118TSI 2013 engine rattle when warm.
Just as well to stick with VW502 00 so 5w 40 FS with a high mileage engine, or just any TSI really of Euro 5 spec & especially a 1.8 TSI or 1.4 TSI Twincharger. That is when doing Fixed Oil & Filter changes and not Long Life intervals. Not that i would use long Life oil in them even doing a Fixed Oil & Filter Service regime. No need to stick to VW504 00 / 507 00.

Best for wheel balancing
@ffvrs So i read the Pirelli Tyres got balanced correctly and free of charged and all was well. Just get your next tyres you have fitted or your current one done where is local and if the tyres are not balanced properly return to them until they do it properly. Millions of tyres in the UK are fitted @ tyre & exhaust centres and others every year correctly. Many of these have been on wider wheels for decades now.

Help with replacement Bridgestone on 2022 vRS
@Joss1733You go to settings and Winter Tyres and cancel or set to some warning speed that suits you. Maybe 100 mph where that would get a ban. Since no Winter Tyres are on that can maybe be used as a different speed from your other Speed Warning you can set on the car. The car does not know what tyres are on, the setting @ 74 mph will have been done by someone in error. Or a glitch with the car and it is set for 119 kp/h Reading the Owners Manual will help greatly.

ad blue
^^^ This thing there in error. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/503070-wheres-all-the-adblue AdBlue app. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/493188-adblue-level-not-showing-correctly-in-app Skoda had some website that showed Adblue calculations. It will depend on how your car is driven how much Adblue it uses. There was a thread recently with Superbs getting up to 18,000 miles i think from what must be a very big tank. or another VW Defeat Device in action.

- Something i dont understand on instrument cluster
If the Service Book is still with the car the service code was in there as well. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/257110-correct-service-interval-and-oil-grade-for-fabia-ii-to-be-pinned- Something i dont understand on instrument cluster
Regional difference can always be something that needs considering. When they introduced the Mk2 as i understand it from what was actually happening they gave the cars a Fixed Service code and eventually changed it to Variable. That was a while after VW, SEAT had been given the Variable servicing even though they had the same engines. That is how things can happen, they learn as they go along, same with cam belt changes and other things.- Something i dont understand on instrument cluster
OBD is unlikely to be required. In 2008 they were not suitable for Variable servicing so the Service Indicator is for Fixed Service intervals. 372 days / 15,000 km. There will be one of the several ways the owner can set that service indicator. The hazard light way, or just button pressing or whatever. Plenty threads here on resetting them. Maybe this simple.- Tyres any recommendations
Do you drive on roads in winter that have not been ploughed or gritted and that postie / delivery vans, busses and other cars are not able to drive about on and might need full winter tyres to get about on?- 2006 octavia 4x4 estate- example of a certificate of conformity please
Did you try google images, is that where you saw the sample. briskoda certificate of comformity , as key words brings up a few and nothing to do with briskoda.- Posabile ABS Fault No light on dash
@mk2rs2008 Where you locking up the front wheels and skidding to the point where you should feel the ABS? Or where the brakes not locked on and it was just ditch finder tyres without grip? I never feel ABS when driving cars but then if i had to slam on the brakes i would still modulate the braking as an automatic thing. Likely messing up the job the ABS might or might not do in stopping the car and allowing me to steer. I disable ABS on Offroaders if they have ABS (newer than 2004) but that has nothing to do with the Diffs and the 4x4 set up, it is because they are old tech. The airbags are disabled as well.- Hybrid versus petrol and diesel: a comparison of real-life fuel consumption
It is nice in Australia, North America & other world regions that 1.4 TSI without ACT are available & with an 8 speed automatic. Cars that emit what ever emissions they do and no kidology like WLTP for those.- Posabile ABS Fault No light on dash
ABS had to be fitted as standard from 2004. (There are those that have disabled it for track use etc, that is not done with a button.) For the MOT the check light must come on then go out. & stay out. *Loads of ABS threads, sensors etc, then ESP & TC ones in this forum for Mk2 Fabia if you look. * Skoda were still having ESP as an option even on Mk2 Fabia. (There are ones without ESP) There are those with ESP that have disabled it it for track use etc) http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/164651-why-no-esp http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/457332-esp-on-fabia-3 Traction Control / ASR , Anti Slip Regulation was not fitted to all Mk2 Fabia but when it was some have a switch to put it off. Some that never had it have activated it. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/327411-stupid-questions-esptraction-control - Something i dont understand on instrument cluster
