  1. no. that is an earlier one, the letter at the end is a revision number and you need D or E or later
  2. been covered so many times. use the search. this is the most comprehensive result
  3. Should this be moved to octavia forum not superb 2 ?
  4. There is a manual adjustment for headlamp height, there was a post many years back showing where and what to do. in that case it was because they were set too low which was echoed by others who replied to the thread. the search should reveal the post.
  5. use the search, then select this forum. i put the word sounder into it and got many hits. this is teh first
  6. I believe there are two. one front behind the instrument cluster and one behind the rear piller. there are threads on here showing where and how to replace and i think part numbers so use the search.
  7. did you post that in the wrong thread. he is asking about seats?
  8. Model: Skoda Fabia 1.4?? or superb mk2? alarm horn batteries fail. suggested replacement art 7 years.
  9. A thread from many many years back suggested the only way of achieving this would be by adding a relay. (i think in the drivers door-i do not recall any further details but it is here somewhere)
  10. I am glad you said that, i found the site linked to be somewhat suspicious.. spelling issues, download link hidden so can not be checked with virus total. I will be staying with the last official release.
  11. i could only find the team heko ones when i searched and refused to buy as i wiol not have "team heko" etched into them.
  12. something rings a bell about a new bosch sensor that had been manufactured with reversed polarity. symptoms pointed to a faulty sensor, replacement did not fix until after weeks of investigation the wires were cut and reversed, they had discovered using an oscilloscope the wave form produced was backward. trouble is i can not be sure it was the crankshaft sensor now but it rings a bell.
  13. not so much when you want to clean them and they are full of squished bugs..
  14. saloon or estate / twin door. if twin door it is the wiring loom. if not the bulbs may have gone high resistance, take one out and look, it may be glossy grey instead of clear.
  15. Because they could charge an extra £500 to enable it.
  16. search the forum for dsg thermostat. assuming yours is a DSG (auto gearbox) that is your answer .
  17. I have eventually found a repair kit for the superb drivers door loom that has (should have) enough wires for the sound system L&K superb. Cost is £30 from the auction site and comes from France. Cable length [mm]: 400.0mm Number of conductors: 28 conductors Number of threads: 28 Cable section [mm²]: 0.50 to 2.50 mm2 flexible silicon cables with the socket end connectors pre crimped. Bag of different sized crimps for the repair ends. ebay link rarely work after time so as well as the page i will include search terms. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/334424640004 Repair Kit Beam Of Door for Citigo Fabia Rapid Roomster Superb Yeti 28 wires skoda loom repair kit
  18. i AM BEING INFORMED THAT i AM WRONG AND WITH THE SOUND SYSTEM IT IS SUFFIX CN not DF sorry for the caps. 3T2971120CN
  19. Nothing special required. torx and philips drivers (possibly just torx) so so many threads here on window regulator repair that show you where the fixings are. use the search,
  20. I dont think that site covers using SetConfig tool, that does seem somewhat more specialist that firmware and map updates. From my ivestigations the software has to be paid for and you need to remove the unit and either make a data (seriel) cable or buy one.
  21. I am told the egr valve can be removed and mapped out ( so the car doesn't complain that it is not responding) and that this has no detrimental effects at all. I do not know this to be accurate or true though.
  22. It is unlikely to be anything other than the wiring loom. Often the cables are still held by a part of their insulation so intermittent operation is common.
