  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Gave the Scout a good maintenance wash, it will need re-sealing in spring.

Cleaned inside and out. Nice and shiny again :)

Gave it a long overdue wash.

Achieved quite a lot today, I think.

Re-fitted the left+right air vents after glossing them up, they wouldn't fit back in, only to realise I was putting them in the wrong sides, oops. Look sweet though, pics to follow.

Sprayed the gaiter surround and ashtray lid, one more coat then it's lacquer time.

Finished sanding my grill and got a layer of primer on it before the can ran out, after halfrauds was shut of course...

Lacquered the pop out part of engine cover after spraying it red.

Worth a second look IMO! :)

Useed CG now touch snow foam on it for the first time. Much better foam, would definitely say it gives a much better clean than previous snow foams I've used. This is after a few minutes after using with AB HD snow foam lance and nilfisk c110

Its good stuff..but dont expect it to be totally 'no touch'

No I still did a 2bm wash after as well as spraying citrus foam on front, back and lower down as my first step

Changed oil and oil filter, and swapped rear wheels with the fronts.

took it for a wash and noticed another superb sitting outside my house

Gloss vents finally re-fitted. Really pleased with them, even though they're covered in fingerprints from re-fitting :giggle:

Washed it and spent a lot of money on a set of wheels I'm not sure will fit it yet. Sure will look nice if they do. :)

Drove the nuts off it today.... well thats what its there for.

Ignored it and took the camper van out instead

ahhh its not just any camper though!!

Fitted new washer jets....mmmmmmmmmm squirty :sun:

Lovely day here in Suffolk so took it the long way to asda and gave it a good thrashing. Got back and wiped her down-getting really anal with this cleaning lark lately.

Washed it & tried out some new wheels, but need to get some smaller tyres and some spacers for the front now.
