  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Took it in to the dealers for it's mudflaps, £90 all round, not bad compared to VW Jetta ones at £128, and now I'll never have to wash the car again.

How much ?   It's a DIY job....

Yup. Did my Superb last year, took easily less than an hour including jacking the car, double-checking everything etc.  The parts themselves were about £60 IIRC

Today fitted the front mud flaps. Check the oil. Put a bit more coolant in. Put some silica gel packets in the light fittings to hopefully combat the annoying little bit of condensation I sometimes get

remembering to reset the trip at123333 was the hardest part :D

Remembering to keep an eye on that while driving would've been hard enough for me

Done nothing at all since Last Wednesday i'm away on a course don't get back home Till The earlier hours of Sunday The Wife and Kids have been left all this time unchecked dreading what State "Vader" will be in. Busy Sunday Morning coming up i think.

Topped up oil and coolant, and driven it.

That's about all so far this year! :)

Technically not me, came back to find my car with this nice thing left on it. No note or anything of course...  :@  :@  :wall:

Took some logs and flashed my ECU ready for a Faboka remap! Excited :)

Changed my PCV valve.

All of 7minutes it took, wonder what a main dealer would charge?

Fitted a new rear badge:

Looking good Chris

Today I had the alternator, cam belt and water pump changed on mine. Next is a new set of discs and pads.....like I had done just over a year ago....

Fitted LED puddle lights to the drivers side of the Fabia

Also had a slow puncture fixed on my rear drivers side tyre, turns out it was the valve and just needed a new one.

Fitted new numberplate screws with plastic caps front and rear.

Much tidier without the rusty originals, however the old screws were so rusty that they've enlarged the holes in the plastic so the new screws fell out and needed silicone sealant squeezed in the holes for grip.

Bought new front and rear discs and pads for the Octavia... just need a dry day to change them!

Ordered 2 new Kumho KU39s for the front of the Fabia, to be fitted on Monday. Got 462 Clubcard points for the privelage too  :giggle: .

Gave my octy a wash and polish for the first time in a while, thinking about getting someone to detail it!
