What did you do to your Skoda today?

Featured Replies

Popped in to the dealers to arrange a time to get some mud-flaps on. Got it in on Wednesday afternoon. Then the crap shouldn't fly as bad.

  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Got it remapped. Now laugh-out-loud fast!

Cleaned in the truck bed.

Well I say cleaned, took the lid off, dropped the tailgate and parked it in the rain :)

Looked at it out the window through v the rain . Then give it a quick wash. Letting the rain rinse it off

Wash wax polish.. full valet.. seats all cleaned out look brand new.. cleaned headlights crystal clear..chrome deep dish rims sparkling now.. exhaust tip cleaned . Stubby ariel fitted and LED number plate lights put in and its looking like a beast.. hard days work . :D

Fitted my Heko wind deflectors, Then I was to going to wash the car but it was tad to cold.

Grounded the bottom of it on a speedbump  Its not even like I've lowered my car either. Its on the standard vRS suspension :o

Cleaned it yesterday outside in the rain, today, as it was drier, rainx'd the windscreen and cleaned the inside of the windows with fastglass...

Also removed the duct tape residue from the recent dodgy window...

That's all folks.

Gave my Monte Tech estate its first ever wash, waxed it quickly with Meguiars Ultimate Quik Wax, easy to use and convenient but can streak if not buffed off properly.

Snowfoamed, washed, polished and waxed.

Just need to fit the pile of parts gathering in my garage!

Cleared the road dirt off the rear ready to go into the dealer tomorrow to have the non-functioning rear wiper sorted.  Not impressed that an 18 month/16K old car has this problem.  First hatchback I have owned that the rear wiper has failed and some of my previous hatchbacks (Vauxhall, Citroen, Ford, Nissan, Honda) were owned for more than 80K miles.

Known issue with the rear wiper I'm afraid, due the design with the washer fluid route going through the motor!

Traded it in.

The lure of a Munich straight six was too much to resist...

Chipped the the rim of Monte's front off-side wheel on my own drive way. D'oh!!! :(

Took him for his MoT. Passed first time, no advisories. Not bad for a 10 and a bit year old Fabia :)

Cleaned and painted diesel filter top with hammerite as it was rusty.

Bit of a crap design as it holds water from engine bay washing and screen wash fill up spillages.

If it rusts through it'll clog injectors and it's a bit of a job to put right so preventative measures necessary.

Today i hoovered it Out,Shampoo'd the mats, cleaned the interior and cleaned the Glass Inside and Out. Looking Good if i Say so myself.

Got it remapped. Now laugh-out-loud fast!

ha just seen this.. mine has comedy handling if that helps...

i've pined after my skoda today, it's gone to sleep in the garage for a few months, and i miss her already

Took it to the dealers for even more warranty work.... :dull: But it did give me a chance to flirt with the service girl behind the desk while the work was being carried out until I found out she had a boyfriend :( Oh well never mind.

Took it for a spin on some roads nearby, lots of muddy puddles. Now needs a wash...

drove the Yeti 220 miles to Berkshire to collect some big Brembo brakes off Clive at CNTuning, then drove it 220 miles back again.

Should have stopped in and said Hi, James. I'm in Reading now.

Today, I looked at my car. Yesterday I drove it through Henley and was amazed at the water level still being that bad.

Still need to diagnose the squealy noise it's making.

Fitted my parrot kit with help from a friend. Now need to find why my elegance drawer won't open and hide a little bit of the mic wire and stick the keypad onto the dash

Bought quite a few parts! No time to fit anything though :-(
