gave mine a quick wash and top up with some chemical guys hybrid v7

Then went to get some new wipers and also booked the car in to have the two front wheels re-sprayed under warrenty as there turning yellow :(

I used Hammerite smooth black in a tin, but would have been wiser to mask off and get same in an aerosol

I will be using Smooth Silver Hammerite from an aerosol in the Spring

Oh forgot to say , used my water filter on the car and you DON`T need to towel dry

Took the car down to the garage yesterday and I went down for an update and its looking good so far as the guy who's fixing my car has sent the turbo off for a refurb and he is confident that its just the vanes causing the issues I'm having - oh and he had to order a new oil return pipe as the old one had seized on

Give the car a thorough clean and wax, did the engine bay too

Took the baby seat out, stripped it down and fixed the bits that seems to be specifically designed to rattle. Ahh, bliss.

Today, Just finished cleaning the mk1.

Pulled of lower trim and sealed for a good finish for the meet

Had to repair some minor accident damage that swmbo caused after hitting a low wall in the small hours of this morning. Has badly scraped the bumper, and had bent the lower wing mount and the wing and bumper had popped off...Typically the bolts had seized and sheared off, so had to do some drilling on the bracket. Really needs a new bumper though :(

Winter prepped Mrs Stigs Ferbi yesterday.......... Deep breath, here goes..

Snow foam, wheels cleaned with Billberry and rinsed,rest of car rinse, washed, rinsed, clayed with Zaino clay and lube, machine polished with Menz Final Finish, foamed, rinsed, waxed with Colli 915, 1 coat of Zaino gloss enhancer and 1 coat of Z8 Seal. And tyres dressed with Meguires Hot Wheels, glass cleaned with Meguires glass cleaner.

I was going to wax the alloys and clean the exhaust with wire wool and AG metal polish, but it got dark..
