  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

  • modified the cup holder     It's now a hobnob holder

The current value is £1.15/kilo, so I got £40.82. This doesn't sound alot but I only wanted £40 as they needed a good refurb. If salvagable at all.

Washed the fish n chips & curry off the car after last nights night shift :'( I hate working nights and having to park in the street. Also need to get a new rear wiper arm and blade as they decided to snap that off too :swear: thankfully the door mirrors stood up well the the punishment they received and are still intact.

That's terrible! Where is it you have to park?

Around Rockingham Street in Sheffield. Within 1minute walk there is 3 Nightclubs & 1 Topless sports club

Here

Have just got back from the Gym and Corporation (student night club) is in full swing and students are still queing to get in, wonder what delights I will walk out to in the morning?

I do park in a Pay & Display carpark Thur/Fri/Sat nights when most of the clubs are open but the rest of the week I try to save on parking costs.

you've got to start at 8 am ;)

Funny you mention that..... If I had I'd have got it done

I started at 9:15... and no lunch break!! :dull:

Yes getting darker by the day, and wait until the clocks go back

Put new front tyres on her and found out that leaking shock absorbers on a 20 month old car are covered by the warranty so will get her booked in for some warranty work soon

Decided to give the old girl a clean and attempt to "polish out" the fading on the rear spoiler.

Had brake Disc's and pads replaced on the mk1 yesterday.

Washed it/ Vac'd it then my foot pump broke whilst pumping my tyres up which resulted in it going quite flat and not safe to drive on :( had to drive the Rav to the local motorfactors to buy a new foot pump to re-inflate my tyre

Was gonna say, I have a spare small tyre compressor, but see you've already bought another foot pump :)

Got a new Battery from Europarts and the 25% Briskoda saving

Good news - what did it cost you in the end?

£54.85 http://www.eurocarpa...ad5e7d50

£73.14 before discount

Fitted new wishbones and superflex bush's.... It's fair to say Wow such an improvement but my case may of been quite extreme change. The orignal bush's had perished along 60% of the contact surface. I only had to employee a twisting action whilst using the mechanics best friend "the persuading screw driver"

Last Saturday, New OE discs and pads fitted all round, Calipers repainted, Washed and hoovered!

Stops really really well now!

Took the hatchback boot panel off, number plate bulb had fallen inside tailgate. Refastened with new clips, but faffy to get back on

Put my private plates on mine and my wifes cars :)

Good work - always satisfying

Viewed it, paid for it and then drove it 200 miles home :-)

Mine went in for a full service yesterday :)

At the same time i got my new wiring and connectors to my MAP sensor.

Going by how it feels now, it's never been running at it's full potential before.

Money well spent.

And tonight it goes in for new boots as i had a puncture :(

Just need to sort my front bumper clips now :)

Sounding good Johnny emoticon-0103-cool.gif

Indeed !

I'll be honest, i had MAP sensor issues before Ben worked his magic, and i always said it never felt that quick, even though i instructed him to basically go as mad as he could with the map, and did so. But even at that it's been quick, but not overly quick.

After getting it back lastnight, there's a notible difference, and it's not just a mind game thing.

Turbo seems twice as loud and its pulling a lot harder, so i think the connector/wiring has been suspect for a while.

Muchos happy ! :D

Took SWMBO and her mother to do their weekly shops, I live life in the fast lane B)
