Alrite everyone, not sure if people are still updating this but i ordered my vrs on 29/12/2010. i rang up the dealership today

MSB SKODA, Darlington) and they gave me a build week of 14. Of course i am well aware that this could mean anything but at least

the process has begun and in motion!

Ordered an octavia vrs, candy white, with maxidot, rear parking sensors and spare wheel. Can't wait!!!!

ordered same but in black on 28 Oct and been given week 13 so not moved from this time last month. It seems like its taking forever, like waiting for xmas when your a kid.

I know, thats exactly what we though, I even wondered if they had got the details mixed up, as ones mine and the other my brothers, but apparently not, the information is correct!

Not too impressed as I was told to delay the order the vehicle for a month to ensure it came in March

Nothing more from the Dealer so rang Skoda UK again.

Now I have calmed down and got the Blood Pressure under 180 .......

List updated and just to let you know my car has been built and awaiting delivery.

Popped into dealer with some trepidation today and asked them to check.

Now its apparently Week 9, which is a week tomorrow!! So I should have it in March as originally promised.

I know its still provisional, but good news. I'd begun to think about canceling and wondering if I should have bought an older used car.

But now I'm looking forward to it. As soon as its built I'm getting another grille surround painted Candy White and a honeycomb grille insert.

Anybody want a 58-plate Chrysler 300C 3.0L CRD estate for £13.5K???

Ordered my White petrol vrs with parking sensors and space saver on 24th Jan, have a build week 13 so all is going to plan. Il update properly when I have more info. Here's hoping it comes in good time

My order was 4 min ago confirmed for build week 8 NEXT WEEK bang on time ordered 04 Nov 2010 as posted previously and my last min maxidot extra is confirmed to be on order by SUK. : Race blue/spare wheel/mdi/2 year extended warranty/MAXIDOT! should be all in between 4.5-5 months from order to collection not bad considering how some others have been treated

Julian, if you've been told today that it's not got a build week, I wouldn't worry too much.

They tend to shift them about on Thursdays and Fridays, phone Skoda or your dealer on Monday or Tuesday for the most accurate update.

I phoned Skoda UK on Friday and was told it had no build date but spoke to dealer on Wednesday and it was at week 11.

So my update is;

Mine got confirmed earlier this week as BW10 even though it had come forwards to 9 for a while.

Dealer told me this is now confirmed as only 1-week away. Apparently BW cannot be confirmed until the week befroe - up until then they are all provisional.

Cheers, will do. Skoda UK promised me 2 weeks ago they would ring me and keep me informed after my last rant at them. Still waiting for their call. I'll take your advice and ring them Monday.

such a long time to wait I sold my Fabia VRS when the time was right (just before the 4 year service) ahahah after 2 brilliant years 20000 miles and only £150 less than I paid for it Ebay.. bidding frenzy Have a horse box of a 406 estate HDi at moment and its killing me day after day :-( had to buy a new bike to bridge the gap it got that bad

Called SUK today told me my car left the factory on its merry way to Emden port yesterday 24/02/2011 ahhhhhhhhhhh best bit around the approx time id expect it to hit the UK I will be away on the road working and will not be able to collect it :(

Just gave the dealer a quick call to check on my order, and it's been assigned to build week 10. Ordered 22nd Jan, vRS Hatch Petrol manual in Antracite, with Maxidot, auto lights/wipers, leather, heated seats, spare wheel and rear parking sensors. Still feels like it's a while off, but still much better than a lot of people waiting for diesel's by the sound of it!

Diesel vRS DSG, Candy White, reverse park, spare wheel, MDI.

Built this week and hopefully with me in the next 2 weeks.

Just to put my two pence worth in...

I ordered an Octavia vRS CR DSG with f/r parking sensors, columbus, phone prep, curtain airbags and a spare wheel. Ordered on 14th Nov, build week.... WEEK 20!!!
