From the window seat of a 747 out of Las Vegas to Heathrow, over Northern Ireland.

I had to download it and also install VLC to see just how impressed the heron was with the 'pillock with a phone'. ;)

I looked that up on Wiki and it's the way a heron shows its admiration for another being (I might put it on flickr, probably easier and I wouldn't have had to compress it so much-which in turn has probably converted it into a format that most peoples' browser don't support  :thinking: )

No good for me, the video supposedly 21 seconds long takes about 2 minutes and manages to show 5 or 6 still frames during that time.

I've never managed to get that close to one.  They're usually very shy birds.   Also, I don't know if you're aware that it's possible to access the whole of your flickr account pics from that link.
