Where do you buy your service parts?

Gonna do a full service this weekend on my VRS - Oil & filter, air filter, pollen filter, fuel filter.

I usually get these parts from PartCo in town, but the last time they seemed quite expensive. So I putting the question out there: Where do you get your parts.

Ebay?

Online?

Skoda Garage?

Halfords? {shudder}

Other?

See if you have a local TPS centre, but tbh price wise dealers are pretty reasonable and genuine parts can't be bad.

Everything I've replaced on mine have come from my local dealer. Their prices have been very reasonable so far

Opie oils usually have deals on filters.

Dealer for me. Cheaper price and genuine parts.

TPS, GSF or Euro Car Parts. It's worth checking who's cheapest for what and you may end up with some bits from one place and the rest from somewhere else.

For me it's Rainworth/Skoda everytime, first class service and fast delivery.

Shop around. Dealers can be surprisingly competitive on some genuine parts - try Bickerton or Rainworth Skoda on-line.

AVS do VAG/OEM parts at a decent prices.

Being doing some digging on Air, Oil & Fuel filter....

Skoda Stourbridge : £53 inc VAT

PartCo Worcester : £45 inc VAT

VWparts.co.uk : £26 inc VAT but £5 for delivery.

Online seems to be the best bet!!

No you would not be turned away, and to be fair, there is a extra 10% off the service parts till the end of the month.

Most garages cant believe that TPS can supply genuine filters cheaper than most Factors can.

tps for me, but tbh, dealers are around the same price,

for anyone who uses TPS, how slow are they at serving?! really annoys me

I didn't know TPS accepted non trade? Worth knowing!

I recently serviced mine and bought the filters from Skoda but they used castrol oil which was a fortune so went over to VW for the oil.

Buy my oil from Halfords.....stock up when they do "offers".....spark plugs from a good indi car parts place.....filters and sump plugs from Skoda dealer.

Got my service stuff from euro car parts today £27 inc VAT

All Bosch items air, fuel, oil and pollen filters.

Get my oil free from work and got a stock of new sump plugs

Do you guys always fit/buy a new sump plug when you change the oil? I've still got my original plug! And I've changed the oil at least 7 or 8 times! !

Agreed i bought service parts off skoda dealer but for the oil i went across the road tothe VW dealer, £10 less it cost and still same quantam oil
