What brakes did you go for Richard?

I believe it's having these. Correct me if I'm wrong Richard.

Exhaust?

Oh yes, that too! :D

In simplified terms...

Three weeks for driveshafts and clutch. Drivetrain then done.

Brakes on the way, brake lines to do.

Seats and steering wheel to sort.

Wiring from Stock Citigo for body/lights to make it road legal now in.

ABS sensors and fuel system in.

Engine loom and ECU to be finished/fitted.

Map and set up.

Scare myself fudging senseless still to do at the end of all this.

Think this is the understatement of the year!

After all this time are you still looking forward to driving it as much as your were at the start?

Or is it a case of the shine has been taken off the project but since you have been busy with other projects and this has come back on line it will be major excitement all of a sudden?

I'd love to be a spectator when you arrive at the track towing the citigo beast with the yeti vrs. And thrash all the other cars on the track. Speaking of which......Next on your shopping list must be your own race track :D

Just sounds posh :)

It's terrible here. Might be nice around parts of Surrey closer to London but the rest is horrible. It has Croydon in it, which says it all.

And put it this way, if you decided you weren't interested in it at all anymore, could always hand it down to your favourite other citigo driver *cough cough* :notme:

Or you if that other one doesn't want it. ;):D

Epic car... does deserve a bloody epic ball ache to bring to fruition I suppose, glad it's getting there Richard and looking forward to seeing this car too!

I to look forward to stealing seeing it :)

I'm looking at 16" rims.
Stock is 14 or 15 and the UP! and new Citigo Sport model have a 16" option.

I think for stealth 17 would be too big.
You can get some decent brake set ups under a 16" rim. Such as a 312mm kit with decent calipers, which should be fine if we can keep the weight under 1100kg. (even though the target was originally 1000 kg)

Ahh but that was almost two years ago and he's bound to have been thinking about more lightweight panels, glass all sourced by now...... :D
