Fitting the VRS badge for skoda fabia 2 grille

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I bought one of the vrs badges from superskoda.com, now i am stuck on how to remove the front grilles, i tried removing two screws but found that there were few rivette like screws so backed off, does any one have a pictorial way of removing for fabia 2 as this is not present in the internet yet.(This is for skoda fabia2)

Do you really need to remove the grille for some reason.

Can you not just use Double Sided vehicle badge tape or good Super Glue and apply your badge?

george

He might even have the screw on version which makes it even easier to install. Again no need to remove the grill.

Try lifting the Bonnet

Good idea!, but the grill does not come up along with the bonnet, the grills are fixed to the bumper and its covered from the top and closed by the radiator/ radiator fan and air intake section from the back.http://www.flickr.com/photos/hooscoob/5628537350/

PM me your exact address as i need to write it on the envelope

& i will send you a vRS badge for the rear of your car & also some Tape.

Thats if it is not going to cost me a fortune. Maybe better not to send a sticker, unless you want one.

(joking there about the postage, you are very welcome)

george

EDIT, ready for me to post, if you think it will get to you OK,

i can get it off to you today.

Just use the tape that is enclosed to fix the Front Badge

@32KOFDATA or anyone else, can anyone help me with this, i am awaiting for your reply...

Remove the air intake. After your remove it you you will see a hole that allows you access to the back of the grille. You should be able to put your hand through in order to hold and screw the badge.

May I ask the question why you are fitting a vRS badge to the grill when they come with them already?

Only the Vrs version of the Fabia gets that.. not the normal version...

So why are you putting a vRS badge on a 'normal' version? Are u hoping it will fool people into thinking its actually a vRS......? Always makes me chuckle when I see that ;-)

You might want to remove the 'HTP' badge from the back? Spoils the fake-vrs look ;-)

Why are you putting VRS badges on a car that aint even a VRS.. do you not think your going to look a little silly when a real VRS is sat behind you or alongside you? worse then that youll have people in saxo VTS's thinkin the car they just smoked was a VRS and they will go off and tell there little crew with corsas that there saxo is quicker then the new twin charged VRS?

Please for your own sake and the sake of VRS owners take the badge off

Are there many Saxo VTS or vRS in Bangalore?

What if a Home made Lamborghini pulls up for a traffic light drag & he actually has a RS4 engine under the bonnet?

I think I'll fit some to my 1.6 CRD Elegance estate...........well it is the 105 bhp version, so they would be totally justified
