how do you tell if its suffering with it driving wise? It doesn't seem to have much pull after 3rd gear

Yes - It would be holding back when being asked for power higher up the rev range.  Not surprising with 98 degree intake temps.  That's seriously high.  Even with my power levels when I am logging my intake temps are barely 20 to 30 degrees above outside ambient.  Your engine will thank you for giving it cold air.

hope so bud, I'm after around 170 for the time being so it should be attainable once I have the front mount (hopefully)

Not much of an update but bought some new headlights to be fit when I finally order my front mount and pipe work

 

 

Yup 98 degrees is rediculously hot!

Will be heat soaked to the high heavens, thats why it feels proper laggy in 3rd gear onwards

Fmic desperately needed.

On my old octy vrs (i know its not the same) but the highest i ever seen it was 36 degree's in summer after a good lashing

Fitted my intercooler and new lights last weekend and finished it off with the grill this weekend

this Tuesday, he said it wouldn't need tuning but I doubt that as it feels no different than before I put the cooler on.

Good to see, going to have the bite to match the looks.

What did you use to bond the body kit in place?

From what I can remember it was the same stuff they bond windscreens in with, and rivets in places that could be covered up eg the seam where the door rubbers go

Probably polyurethane glue - like Tiger Seal.

Welp I tried

Not much Steve still waiting on ##!!##h to sort me out with stuff. I have bought some Ibiza ap front brakes I'll be fitting this weekend and will be buying some Octavia rear brakes soon. Also bidding on some wheels at the moment to. Car was rolling roaded a month ago and made 185bhp and 330fbls of torque which isn't bad to say its still on its original 70000 mile old turbo

I suppose there are still quite a few shows for them to promote your car at but it seems to be dragging on. Still you do still have a cool WRC fabia.
