What made you smile whilst driving?

Encountering a lane cutting bellend in a 'MINI' on the M6 this afternoon. Lane 3 to 2 then back again without overtaking anything and getting no further forwards and causing me to brake heavily once to avoid his dive into the stationary traffic in my lane. Then, just as I left at Jct 11, he made another swerve into lane 3 JUST as the motorway ground to a total halt and stopped moving. Trapped like a fly in amber whilst I was free to wander up the A449 listening to Classic FM.

The fool in the Focus RS who was right up my chuff. After much weaving, tailgating and undertaking he ended up...

In front of me. I hope he thought it was worth it.

Then he got stuck in the right hand lane and I sailed past him in the left lane and didn't see him again.

I've got an old Dingwall reg so it ends in pjs, i know Dingwall is a good bit further north than the GIF lads but just hoped he'd recognise a local-ish (scottish) car, he did :-) Those lads must put in some miles.

seeing a beige Morris Marina Coupe in beige, it was a 1.3 but I can't remember the spec. Does GL or LX sound right?

Reg was SAE some numbers M.

And no piano on top of it :wonder:

Presume you mean SAE 999M, so 1973/74 or thereby. In which case a Marina would be L, GL, or (1.8 only) TC.

I had one of those, but in yellow, it was my first brand new car, it was so bad I kept it for 10 months only, the dealer never did fix all of the 40 odd problems with it, but most of all it wouldn't go round corners without loosing the rear, it was only good for attracting flies.
